Good morning everyone! It looks like it is going to be party cloudy and partly rainy here. Sorry I didn't show up here last night. My flatmate turned 25 so few other people in the house and me arranged him a little surprise. He had birthday cake as well so we were sitting, chatting and eating yummy cake until midnight. It was nice of him. ^^ Also, I bought my ticket to Lithuania yesterday too. Unfortunately, I will be staying in Scotland on Christmas. Tickets were too expensive for the Holiday. Anyway, I'm going home for New Year so I'm happy I will be able to celebrate at least New Year with my family. I'm getting ready to go to the campus, and I will see you all in the evening. Have a nice day!

Thank you everyone for all of your thoughts, well wishes and prayers....It truly means the world to me. I have had sort of a rough patch this year as a hole, to which I have only mentioned to a few of you here...

So, this sudden news, only added to the weights that are already on my back. However, I am an optimist and I do believe in a higher power....

My youngest brother is handling most of the work, while I am providing comfort for my grandfather. It appears that my father donated his body to science, so there will be no funeral, no viewing and no expenses. I look at it like this, if that's what he wanted, so be it. Ironically, my brother just called me 30 minutes ago and told me that Johns Hopkins just called him and asked him if they could have his brain. That's a really weird phone call to get.....

I take it all in stride, Well, I guess it's all in the name of science.... So, they keep his body for awhile, cremate it, and return the ashes in 6-8 weeks. After that who knows. My brother is going to handle the estate and everything else and that's fine with me. Dealing with all this stuff, is one major pain in the can...

I'm tired, haven't had much sleep so I'm going to see Mr. Ambian tonight. I'll see you all tomorrow...nighty-nite~

Where did the time go today? I had such a hectic day. We had two doctor appointments, one for me and one for my daughter. My errands included a trip to the post office, bank, supermarket, Target and two trips to Rite Aid. I spent the rest of the day taking care of the animals and getting all of my chores done. I'm tired and I'm going to turn in a little early tonight.
Thanks to all who sent get well wishes to my daughter. It looks like she just picked up a little cold.
I hope tomorrow will be less hectic!
I'm thinking of you all and praying that everyone is well.

I hope that your daughter starts to feel better soon. She is in my prayers. Have her take Zinc. I buy the caplets and start to take 1 a day when I feel a cold coming on. It cuts the length that I have the cold in half and makes it not so terrible. Hope tomorrow is less hectic for you.

Well I'm going to head to bed here soon. I go to the doctor for the check up on my foot in the morning. So in case I don't get on before then, I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY tomorrow!!

Good morning, MMC! I only have a minute or so - but just wanted to say hi! I have my tests at the hospital this morning. I'm getting the stress test on the treadmill and then an echocardiogram. I have the worst caffeine headache right now. I haven't been allowed any caffeine / caffeine free drinks / chocolate for 24 hours because of the stress test. I usually drink two cans of pop and something with caffeine for breakfast, so I'm missing it right now, lol!

Well I have to be out of the door here soon. I'm sure I'll be spending most of the day at the hospital.

I went to Outback last night and our waitress wished us a happy holidays after we paid the check. The shopping center it was in had their Christmas banners on the light poles in the parking lot too. I guess the season is approaching faster than I thought!

Good afternoon all! We woke up to half and inch of snow on the ground this morning. That made this Monday morning back from a 2week break a liitle bit better! Work has been a madhouse today though as I knew it would be. things should calm down as the week wears on though. The snow should all be melted by Weds when we are suppose to get up to the mid 50's. There are 30 percent chances of snow the rest of the week though at night time when the temps ar ein the low 30's. The leaves are long gone though

My dawgs won the game on sat just barely but they pulled it off! We play Appalachain State this sat and then the week after that I think it's UK(Kentucky) now that should be a good game...so the season is slowly coming to an end. I have set my DVR to record a lot of movies this week. Tonight at midnight Karoll's Christmas comes on,it is one of Louanne's favorites and it is happy one minute and a tear jerker the next,so I really don't know if I am ready to see it yet. The reoccurring theme in it they play I'll be home for Christmas" song and even in the best of years it made my throat lump up,I know this year I will be sobbing. I may watch it later in the month but I have it set to record nonetheless! I hope everyone has had a great Monday and I will hopefully be around more at the office this week! I dread the dentist too. People laugh at me, but once when I had a cavity, I had one when I was 26 and I had it filled, I dreaded that more than sitting through getting my epidural during labor. I'm not kidding. I hate the dentist!

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a cloudy but decent day here with a high in the upper 50's. Then heavy rain tomorrow. Yuck!! Well some good news and bad news from the doctor this morning. The good news, the fracture is about 70% healed. Which I'm surprised with as much walking as I have been doing. The bad news is though, I have to wear this boot for another 2 weeks since it's not completely healed. Boo!!!!! After those 2 weeks are up, I can go back to my normal shoe and walk but I'm supposed to go another 6 weeks without pain. Then I can slowly build myself back up to where I was before over the next 6 weeks. Way to drawn out for me but at least it will be winter and I won't want to be outside walking as much anyways. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

My Dad is in the middle of a biopsy on his vertebrae right now - hoping & praying all is going well there! Has me nervous this morning! My sister took him. She just sent a text that the girl who brought him back for the procedure is from town here. Small world.

I am so glad that the fracture is healing! That's great news. Ugh - sorry that you have to wear the boot for two more weeks. Look at the bright side- you will be good to go for Christmas! I hope the rest of your day is good!

I finished my tests quickly at the hospital today. They didn't find anything (thank goodness) which means the high heart rate is just my normal. He told me that I could go on beta blockers if I want to, but it is very difficult for people my age to adjust to them. He said that I am not in any danger if I do not take them, so I am just going to leave it alone. I'll see if it's still an issue in 10-15 years and then go from there.

You should have listened to that doctor & stayed off that foot!!! ;-) Seriuosly though - I'm glad to hear it is healing! Good news indeed!
