Morning show is live at the Toronto Santa Claus parade construction wear house. The parade is on November 17
The pictures are not the best, took them off the TV. So nice to hear Christmas talk and all the excitement on already. A nice way to start the day! They call it Santa's secret workshop

We are back!!! Just got in from a wonderful cruise aboard the Carnival Cruise Ship. We went to Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel, Mexico. I thought our other cruises was fun but this one was the best.
Look who we saw on Halloween Night in the Main Dining Room on the ship! Santa was enjoying himself on vacation! I was so excited that I jumped up and ran over to his table. The people we were sitting with started laughing but I was very for real. Ha ha! I told Santa that he is my hero and could I take a picture of him. He was very happy to do so. I am not the only one, everyone was going up to him wanting pictures. Wayne and I were selected as finalist in the Costume Contest onboard. I was a cop and he was my inmate. There were hundreds of people dressed up and they selected 31 people as finalist. Santa was selected too! We didn't win but we got a medal. It was fun!

How is everyone? I have not been on here since October 17. I appreciate the messages from some of you since I have been away. It will take a little time just to get caught up here around the house and get back in a routine. I hope I get some time to pop in here more often!

Haven't really done much yet but our local Christmas store opens tonight so I'm really looking forward to that
I have picked up a few thing but having moved into a new house I have to start buying all over again :wink:

Afternoon Irishsnow, it has also gotten really cold here to. I have to be honest, I'm finding it hard to adjust to this sudden cold weather after having an unusually warm summer! My house is freezing these days!

Walked to the shops after dropping my eldest to school this morning. There are a lot more Christmas things out. I have seen a few things I want to get, so perhaps next week! It's a big week here. A lot of places are switching on their lights and decorations for the season at the end of this week. The city switches on Friday and I think my town does to.

Its a big change here too. It was a lovely summer. I have a nice fire lit this afternoon and enjoying a Christmas movie
Here we are! We had an unlimited internet plan onboard the ship. (Very slow but nice to have!) I sent this picture for my grandchildren to see and they got excited thinking I got a job as a cop onboard the ship. I also got my picture taken with Santa in my cop uniform. The kids asked what did Santa do wrong? Ha ha! I will get that picture on here soon.
