there are three houses in our neighborhood that have their up already. We will get our up soon too, just because it is easier to do when it is not so cold.

Here it is unseasonably warm with lots of wind with strong gusts.
Stopping in to say hi and to see what everyone is up to today~
It's been a very quiet, nice and peaceful day here so far today with everyone else either working or at school. My morning was spent cleaning the house and getting it in "show" condition for the appraisal of my home. It went really well and my relator was very pleased with the look of the house.
After the relator and the appraiser left, I went outside and did some yard work for a couple of hours. It looks like now a cold front is starting to make its way near here, (I can see it coming this way on the horizon); it's clouding up and it feels like rain...
A few minutes ago, I put up our first Christmas tree while Lisa was at work (she doesn't know what I did) It will be a nice surprise when she gets home from work in a little bit. Right now I'm sitting here listening to "Sounds of the Season: Holiday Music" on TV, It's a music channel thru Verizon FIOS; I'm loving it....

Stratford - Mitchell - Southern Perth County continued
Strong southerly winds ahead of a cold front will develop this afternoon over much of Southwestern and South Central Ontario. Winds of 50 gusting to 70 km/h are expected in some areas. Behind the cold front, very strong southwesterly winds with much colder air will blast in this evening and into Monday morning with winds gusting up to 90 km/h or above. A few gusts of 100 km/h or more are possible in regions near the Great Lakes and higher ground, such as Southern Niagara, Picton and the Dundalk Highlands.

Severe thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and early evening. These thunderstorms are likely to form in Michigan and move eastwards in advance of a sharp cold front. Although winds in excess of 100 km/h are the primary threat, there also is a risk for tornadoes and large hail.
