The Lear is on its way. Save a pencil for the pilot!

Okay, I will confess. I am actually there now posting from my phone. That is why I have been so "busy". Wayne and I are in one of those tents and it's getting a bit chilly!!! Someone send the lear with some hot chocolate, please!

Yes, it's an awesome deal! The first 20 people to enter through the doors get a free Best Buy pencil!!!

Thank you ... Mr.'s feeling much better this morning and is headed to the office today. I'm in the middle of proofreading an entire website ... interrupted at times with whatever other work comes through. A short lunch break and maybe a 10-minute walk around the block will be the only relief today.

Glad to hear it! Hope he had a good day, you as well!

sounds like you are a very busy lady. Congrats on becoming a blood donor, nothing to it, I have done it for years.

Well, uni sometimes feels like a full-time job. I don't have that many lectures in a week but the workload outside the classroom is quite big although manageable. :] As for the blood donation, your case is very inspiring. I hope it wasn't my last time donating blood too.

Good evening! How is everyone's week going? I'm happy it's Friday. I'm now going through my last (for now) assessment which I'm submitting tomorrow. Yay for that. Also, I finally got in touch with my mum. I haven't heard from her for a week which is quite unusual. When I caught her on Skype, she told me she has been feeling very bad lately. She got one of those attacks with high blood pressure and very high pace of heart beats few days ago. Luckily, my dad was at home that night so he took my mum to the emergency department. She has skipped her job for two days now and been visiting different doctors to get many tests done. Her heart, liver and pancreas seem to be okey. Doctors found renal calculus (I guess this is the name in English). Fortunately, they are small enough to be washed out by drinking lots of filtered water and lingonberry tea. Anyway, doctors don't think that current renal state was the reason for those attacks so my mum is going to have her stomach and intestine biopsy done on 3rd December.

I'm sorry for quite a long post. I'm very worried about my mum and I wish I could be at home right now. I would very appreciate if you guys kept her in your prayers for nothing bad and more serious to happen. I would be incredibly thankful for that to you all.

Best wishes to all, and always make you health your top priority.

Praying for your mom, Victoria. ((Hugs))

Are you going to participate in any of the festivities? If so, enjoy and have a great time!

We thought about it but not sure we can make it.

Great to see you, CAH. I hope you will soon feel up-to-snuff. I sure am, finally. I have my days sometimes, but I feel more energetic than previously. Will you two be attending any events in Dallas? How are those sweet grand kids? Are they making you laugh? I'll bet they are junior Christmas-a-Holics!

I am glad you are feeling better. I am still working on getting my energy back. It's just going to take time!

The grandkids always make me laugh!!!

hope they find the cause of your mum's problems soon. What you describe sounds like you are talking about kidney stones. They can be very painful, good thing they were just small ones.
I will be praying for you all too.

I will sure try but you know how rowdy these people can get when they are handing out free stuff. I might get into a fight getting one for myself! :playing:

Well you are in front of me, so if you get one and I don't..................

you guys camping out at best buy, a warning, Carl heard about it and has decided he wants to join you. He has a surprise. You know Carl and surprises! Something about turkeys and dressing, but not what you think.
When he starts with riddles watch out!

Sending up prayers for your mum!

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a rainy day here with a high of 52 degree's. Mom is doing better this morning. Head still hurts and she still feels kinda off but she is talking and walking okay now. Not much on the agenda for today. I need to run to the store and then it's back here to work on a few projects. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

Glad to hear your mom is improving!
