Christmas Countdown - 2013

Merry Morning!! How are you guys? I hope everyone is doing well. I am just getting ready to make my way to the post office but I wanted to say hi even if only quickly!

I dislike when I miss a few days on here , it will be impossible to catch up since I was last on. It's been busy here. We had a nice weekend although we had to change some of our plans. The car broke down as DH was driving home on Friday evening. Anyway we made it out on Saturday to the Christmas markets but stayed in on Sunday. I have put up quite a few decorations now and even bought a couple new things I also managed to get some new LED lights for the tree which will be going up on Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok well I must dash, as I am writing this I have just noticed that my son has drawn not only on his face but on the TV screen .........in felt tip!!!!

Good morning!
Oh my gosh, I'm having a cup of coffee and watching the news. They just reported that a mall Santa in Massachusetts was arrested for groping a female Elf photographer. Unbelievable.
It is going to be cloudy today with showers moving in later this afternoon and a high of 44 degrees.
After everyone is off to school and work I will be heading out to finish the rest of my food shopping for Thanksgiving. I was supposed to pick up my turkey from the butcher tomorrow but I'm going to call and see if I could get it today. I would rather stay in all day tomorrow to start prepping and cooking and also do any last minute cleaning. And the weather is supposed to be awful tomorrow, heavy rain and high winds.

Good morning!
Oh my gosh, I'm having a cup of coffee and watching the news. They just reported that a mall Santa in Massachusetts was arrested for groping a female Elf photographer. Unbelievable.

Days to Thanksgiving: 2 (DAY AFTER TOMORROW!)
Days to Christmas Day: 29 (UNDER A MONTH, INDEED!)
(High gear now, Guys! High gear!)

We are definitely entrenched in a winter-like cold pattern here, now.
Rain likely today and tomorrow as well.
(At least Thanksgiving day is supposed to be clear.)
Right now, we show 39 degrees on our temperature recorder.

Good evening! I'm going to turn in soon, its been a long day and I need to get some sleep. I'm going to be super busy the next couple of days getting ready for Thanksgiving. It looks like we have some nasty weather heading our way Tuesday night in to Wednesday. I'm going to try and get the rest of my food shopping done by tomorrow so I have everything in the house. I will try and catch up with the posts tomorrow morning. I hope everyone is well and had a great day! Goodnight and sweet dreams!

I am off tomorrow, and Wednesday will be spent getting ready for Black Friday, since Massachusetts law prohibits stores opening on Thanksgiving, Thank God! I will have to be there at midnight on Thurs/Fri and work all night. I have a lot to do tomorrow trying to get the rest of my Christmas decorating done.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It was a busy day yesterday, and I see another one coming today. I have to work hard, though, because I plan to take off tomorrow. Our plant will be closed Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving. I hope to spend a little time at my brother's shop tomorrow working on the Camaro. It's been a couple weeks since we did anything with it, and it feel like I'm letting him down.

I heard that on the radio. His court appearance is on Christmas Eve.

they are even talking about that nasty weather on our news this morning, not looking good for those who hope to travel on the holiday. I hope it does not effect the parade to much.

For the Macy's parade in NYC, AccuWeather says "Mostly sunny, windy and much colder"---winds at 22 mph with gusts up to 39 mph. That could possibly ground some of the big balloons. It'll be awfully cold for the majorettes. I hope the storm doesn't keep any of the bands from getting there. They work so hard to raise money to get to NYC to have their big moment in the parade.
