They've also had this sign up near our front doors- we've received nothing but positive responses!

Good evening!
Just got in a little while ago from picking my youngest up from work. I didn't let her drive tonight because the news stations have been carrying on about the weather. I was expecting a monsoon this evening. It was just drizzling. I'll see how it is when I wake up in the morning. I hope its not as bad as they say it will be.
So much to do tomorrow! I'm so excited for Thanksgiving, I really enjoy hosting this holiday!

I have discovered a "Christmas" song that was a big hit in Europe in the early 80's, it will be the song of the day tomorrow. It is a really cool sounding song. Curious? Just wait until tomorrow. cheesy If I can remember when I log on tomorrow.

I keep thinking that it is Wednesday! Wow... That's why Carl looked at my quite strangely. I got a sneak peak of tomorrow's festivities! Don't worry, I won't ruin it for anyone!

Oh now I want a ham! I will probably make one for Christmas!

We are having both ham & turkey. This is the 1st year my MIL has not had Thanksgiving & she never has turkey or lunch b/c she knows everybody will be having turkey again for supper on the other side of the family. BUT for me it was easy to do a turkey roast & a ham - so if they don't want turkey, they can stick with the ham. I don't mind leftovers! :smile: I thought about having bbq ribs or prime rib, but in the end, I just love to make turkey!! Lol!

These stories are so sad.
A couple of teenagers were arrested here last week for following a UPS truck around the neighborhood and stealing packages off peoples doorsteps after they were delivered. Idiots!

UGH! Makes me a little worried for my hubby! The world gets scarier every year!

There was a story on the news here this morning about a pizza hut manager who was fired for refusing to open his store on Thanksgiving.

I turned it on & then my SIL (my brother who passed way - his wife) called....and then when I got off the phone with her, my hubby got home. Didn't get to watch it at all!! But it's all good....
