20 minutes ago it was sleeting and now it is snowing like crazy. My dad is still on the road and my brother hasn't even left work yet. They are making him work overtime so he won't even get to leave for another 45 minutes to an hour. He has an hour drive to get home on top of that, too! Please keep them in your prayers!

Good evening to everyone from Scotland! Happy Friday! I hope that you all had a good week. :] It has been the last teaching day of the semester today. Despite one more little assessment left next week and two exams to go, I have now finished my first semester of second year. Yay! I can't believe how quickly time goes (I probably have said this many times). I don't have any plans for the weekend yet. As I was working on the essay last weekend, I just want to relax this time before I start exam preparation on Monday.

Thank you for all of the thoughts & prayers.
I got a good night's sleep, so hopefully that will help.

I have my cold stash ready to take to work w/ all of the necessary supplies.

It is currently -3 degrees here....Brrr!

Poor Harlowe is having a tough time with the temps. The groomer cut her hair too short, and we're having troubles getting her to walk, etc. right now. Her paws trouble her pretty quickly.

What are your weekend plans?

I wish we could all meet somewhere snowy and could make Christmas recipes together. I have so many things I want to make when the kitchen is completed. Wait, I've got it! We could all meet up at Made's place and help him bake!!! Bring your favorite recipes! The Lear is ready!

Glad you slept well buddy but I was really hoping that you would feel better this morning. I'll keep praying for you.

Poor Harlowe!! I don't blame her for not wanting to walk in that kind of weather!!!! Give her a hug for me!!

My weekend plans involve trying to stay warm!!! So I'll probably do some baking.

My niece's husband just sent her these flowers today. Snowflake, I'll bet you and HMG would love them!!! I've never seen an arrangement that looks like a puppy!

sugar cookie dough mix and resting in the fridge...I have 8 plates of goodies to give as gifts at our family Christmas party. So everyone is getting decorated cookies this year.
I have one week to get them done, easy to do provided nothing unforseen comes up.

I love the idea of a heated floor for all furbabies. I think HMG said she has one, too. Sweet pic!

Christmas is a he'd time to start training a puppy, things tend to be a tad busy.
My brother has an old dog too when they got a puppy and they are doing well. At first Charlotte was annoyed and would give that " really! You brought me a hyper baby ?" Look but they get along fine, hank says the puppy is actually learning from the older dog. Here us a recent picture of them

(They have a heated floor and the dogs love it!)
So it does work fine .
But if it was me, I would wait till after ,
Christmas so I could give my full attention to the new arrival.

Little Bambina, Dr. Wifey, Momma, and myself are about to eat supper....and watch Christmas TV.

it is especially great for Charlot, she is getting quite old and has arthritis in her hips and is having a hard time getting around now. (the dog in the top of the picture) Hank says she sleep no where else now.

Wow! I'm speechless! If I got those cookies as a present, I wouldn't eat them. No way! They look too beautiful to be eaten. Instead, I would hang them as decorations on a Christmas tree. ^^

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's going to be in the mid-80's today, and everyone is getting ready for the Christmas parade tomorrow...LOL. Still, it should be a fun time. We're going shopping after church on Sunday, then to a live nativity. It's supposed to be a large section of Bethlehem, while donkeys & camels (looking for Carl!), and folks wearing period clothing. Sounds neat!

Good morning!
We are expecting rain here today with a high of 50 degrees.
Bentley is driving me crazy this morning. I can't believe the energy this cat has. This is the first male we ever had. I don't know if it has anything to do with being a boy or not, but none of my females behaved like this. He is running back and forth across the house, up and down the stairs, across all of the furniture. He was on my dining room table and actually jumped at my chandelier. Then he jumped on a shelf in my wall unit and knocked over one of my Yorkie plates and broke it. He's stressing me out!!!
Anyway, I am going to do some more Christmas shopping today. I also need to make a menu plan and grocery list for next week. I'll probably go to the butcher later too and get that over with.
