Christmas in Conway comes on three times tonight back to back. If it's a tear jerker I don't know if I can handle it to tell the truth. I watched a movie last weekend about the girl who brought the fake boyfriend home for the holidays to meet her folks I chocked up at the end of it. We are having our Christmas here in Utah with my bros and sister's and their families coming for a few days. My in laws are coming at New Years. so I am looking forward to seeing loved ones...the holidays are just not the same without family!

I am really liking "fir crazy" it's the first time I have sat thru the whole thing, Maybe the next one I will like too, it's called the Santa switch...don't recall ever seeing that one. I can't believe we are within 16 days of Christmas. Luckily everything does not end until Jan 2nd around here. I think hallmark keeps playing the movies well past Dec 25th!

They do. You can go on the Hallmark channel's website and they show a month calendar with the line up of programming. Hmmmm - Is it messed up that I know that? ROFL

I always check the channels that run holiday programming. Hallmark, Lifetime, ABC Family, CBS (because they own the rights for running Charlie Brown and Rudolph), NBC and ABC for Yes Virginia, and that cute one with the Elves. AMC and TNT because they run Bell's of St Marys (which yes to me is a Christmas movie LOL), It's a Wonderful Life and the classic Christmas Carols with Albert Finney and George C Scott (my favorites) and a host of others.

Yeah - okay I do have most everything on DVD, but there's something special to me about getting to watch it when it airs. LOL

lol I know. Dvd's are just not the same as watching real time tv. I don't know if it's the commercials or just the fact you know so many people are watching it the same time you are. it's just one of those weird things in life. I always watch hallmark right up till the bitter end of their lineups...talk about sad is when the credits roll on the last movie...oh well I am just glad they start Early November just 10 months until it starts again.lol

I hope that everyone's Sunday is going well. I have been tidying my room today and making stars out of wrapping paper to decorate windows in the house. The starts actually turned out quite nice. ^^ I still need to make more stars because the making is very time consuming. :]

Best wishes to all, and good luck with your Christmas preparation. Enjoy it!

Goodmorning MMC!!! Today we decorate the tree and house! I'll have my browser open on my laptop all day too for the Christmas party!!

Just saw this on my husband's facebook page - he must be feeling extra homesick today if he's posting pics of our dogs. LOL He took this at Thanksgiving. This is Jake and Mrs. Chiweenie though we've shortened it to Chi or Chi-chi. LOL

Morning everyone! How's everyone doing? I be lounging on my couch & the boyfriend is watching boxing... And feeding his candy crush addiction hahahahah
We celebrated christmas early the other night (just ry & I) seeing as we have many places to be the week of christmas etc, just on a whim decided it was a good idea to have ours fairly early! Threw my family off, ya woulda sworn It was the end of the world... Texts "what! Christmas without us?", "what is going on?" Bwahaha teach me to let facebook land know we're celebrating early!
Had to go to the hospital this week, doctor found that I have moderate to high counts of precancerous tissue in my cervix (whomp whoooommmp), so had to have a biopsy done... will get the results around the 25th (again, whomp whommmppp) now I believe it was to see what exactly is going on with my tissue, guessing it was to see how far along I am??? (don't quote me on that... All I remember him saying is he thinks my results will come back moderate & we will go ahead from there) what a lovely Xmas gift eh!!!! Ok it's not too bad, according to them they're being proactive.(which I am thankful for!!!!).. It's not cancer yet & would take a long time to get to that point they just wanna stop it dead in its tracks now. All I know is it scared the bajeebus out of me, and I **** near fainted when she said my counts were moderate/high, no thank you!!!!!

Speaking of fainting, almost did when I walked into the mall yesterday! One word : PACKED... Felt like a package of sardines in there, I love the hustle & bustle but my goodness shopping at this time of year proves to be a tad difficult! I am definitely not used to shopping so late & don't often leave it for so long, i remembered why yesterday hahahahah

Hello friends-
Just wanted to touch base. It's been a wild ride around here since my husband's shoulder surgery. He had a severe neck spasm during the night and I ended up driving him to the emergency room at 6 this morning. He is still in a lot of pain, but heavily medicated. Soooo, I'm trying to keep the Christmas spirit alive, but it's been a bit dicey as of late. Anyway, I hope you are all having a wonderful time in your own preparations! Thinking of you all at this exciting time in our journey to Christmas!

I will keep both you and your husband in my prayers!

I am such a sap that I cry at most of them, even if they're cheesy!

You may want to skip this one then, dawg.

That's awesome that your family is coming to Utah for Christmas. Have a wonderful time with them!

Yes!! So many times I've written out posts and for some reason tapatalk won't post it and deletes it all right away, so I get frustrated and sign off... Call me lazy but sometimes they're novels and poof.. Gone!

Have to correct Jay… Darlene Love will sing Christmas, Baby Please Come Home on Letterman. All Alone on Christmas is her song from Home Alone 2

Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

The Christmas in Claxton celebration got rained out last night, but not before we had a great Christmas parade. As soon as the parade ended, it started pouring. I ( and my trusty HUGE umbrella) spent the rest of the evening helping unprepared families and elderly people get back to their cars without getting soaked...I mean without them getting soaked LOL. It's a shame, because so many groups had put together booths, selling food and Christmas necklaces, etc. Oh well, there's always next year.

Today, after church, we're heading to Savannah to do some shopping, then we're off to the Bethlehem/Nativity experience. I'm really starting to look forward to that. I was complaining earlier this week about agreeing to doing too many things again this year, and not being able to enjoy the season. But, upon reflection, the Nativity IS the reason for my season. Maybe I should skip a parade or two, instead of complaining about this, eh?

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

I'm sorry the event got rained out. Very sweet of you to make sure others did not get wet!! Have a great time at the Live Nativity!!
