We celebrated christmas early the other night (just ry & I) seeing as we have many places to be the week of christmas etc, just on a whim decided it was a good idea to have ours fairly early! Had to go to the hospital this week, doctor found that I have moderate to high counts of precancerous tissue in my cervix (whomp whoooommmp), so had to have a biopsy done... will get the results around the 25th (again, whomp whommmppp) now I believe it was to see what exactly is going on with my tissue, guessing it was to see how far along I am??? (don't quote me on that... All I remember him saying is he thinks my results will come back moderate & we will go ahead from there) what a lovely Xmas gift eh!!!! Ok it's not too bad, according to them they're being proactive.(which I am thankful for!!!!).. It's not cancer yet & would take a long time to get to that point they just wanna stop it dead in its tracks now. All I know is it scared the bajeebus out of me, and I **** near fainted when she said my counts were moderate/high, no thank you!!!!!

Speaking of fainting, almost did when I walked into the mall yesterday! One word : PACKED... Felt like a package of sardines in there, I love the hustle & bustle but my goodness shopping at this time of year proves to be a tad difficult! I am definitely not used to shopping so late & don't often leave it for so long, i remembered why yesterday hahahahah

Hey Jenn91 since you said you're in Pitt - in the pic with the kitten, notice on the wall there's a framed pic with an oval cut out? My uncle's friend is an artist and did a whole Christmas line focused on Pittsburgh. That's a painting he did of the Gimbel's building downtown when they would put the tree on the corner of it. I know it's not there anymore, but it's nostalgic to me, because it was when I was a kid. LOL

The oval cut out he wrote, "You never really leave a place you love. Part of it you take with you, leaving a part of yourself behind."

I have a ceramic ornament on my tree with the same image. I keep it up all year, because to me, that's always home.

I've been in the mall for 4 hours with Nancy & my mom...clothes shopping. Somebody take me out back and shoot me right now. Ugh.
 
Good afternoon,

Been busy here today, I finally have my 7.5 foot tree up, the lights are on it and the garland is on it. We will be decorating it a little later.
I also made dinner in the crock pot, sausage and peppers.

My Bengals beat Made's Colts, (sorry Made) I thought the Browns were going to beat the Patriots and the Bengals would be slotted as the second seed, but the Pats came back to win.

I hope you are all having a great day.
