Awesome!! :-) I did crate training with Moose and bought a really great collapsable cage/crate that was quite sturdy and good for traveling because it folded flat with fast and easy set up. That huge thing was $150 everywhere else but I found a seller in Georgia on eBay and got it for $50 with free shipping and shipping was 2 day FedEx. I was really impressed. Given you'd be buying for a wheaton terrior instead of a moose I'd think one her size would be even less.

I'm rather new to the forums so forgive me for not remembering where you're located, because if you're not in the US that seller may not be applicable to you, but I could send you the link to their storefront if you're interested.

Not sure it would be the style you're looking for, but I'd be happy to send it for whenever you're ready to bring home your new addition. :-) I really wanted to get a soft side canvas style carrier but after ready reviews thought it wasn't the right choice for our Moose. He was a digger/chewer and I could see him going right through it. The one I bought was a black wire with a full slide out tray on the bottom and bought a lambs wool memory foam pad for the bottom on Amazon for $12. The crate had 2 doors. One on the side and one in the front. It was great!!

Well thanks! That would be great if you can send the link. It sounds a lot like the cage our neighbors bought for their new Goldendoodle! I'm pretty sure we are going to wait to get a new puppy though. :( I talked to my hubby about it a little bit - I think having the extra dog(s) is starting to stress Buster out. Just not sure I can do that to him. Poor guy!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

After the mind-numbing clothes shopping yesterday afternoon, we went to see The Journey at...no kidding...the largest church I've ever seen. Their main campus is as large as Bellville. As you enter the church, the bookstore is on the left, followed by the gift shop, then the coffee shop...it's amazing! We were taken into the concert arena (not the sanctuary. I never saw that.) and treated to live music and singing with production value that would make some Hollywood-type envious. They had TV cameras at different angle, some on arching booms, professional lighting,...Lordy, Lordy! I can't imaging what it costs just to maintain the building and grounds. I come a super small church. Our average attendance is 30.

Anyways, The Journey was awesome! It was cold and wet, which made it seem all the more realistic. There is a large pond near the church, and they ferried you across the "River Jordan", and you were conducted on a tour of the surprises that Mary and Joseph had in store for them, then by a Roman centurion to Bethlehem to register for the census. It was too long, and too cool to go into all the way, but I was super impressed!

Back to reality today. Jacob want another guitar for Christmas. And, of course, not the affordable one. I gotta have a talk with him this afternoon.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

That sounds so wonderful and glad you enjoyed it!!

A church in our area does, "The Lights of Lakeland," and the first year it was so lovely! Lights, giants trees, it was a large walk through, starting with Santa, his reindeer, elves, a toy shop, characters from The Grinch and Ruldolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Charlie Brown's Christmans, then moved phenomenal light displays. The hub was artificial snow, our version of "Rockefeller Center Tree," and their choir on risers singing carols. There was a military appreciation section showing home movies of their church members who were serving, and each of the branches of the military represented so you could go thank them for their service and make a donation that was divided among the families of those in service or who had been wounded in combat. They had fresh cookies, roasted chestnuts, cocoa and cider being served and handed out. Past all of that, and what you ended with was the walk through of the live nativity where they recreated the walk through of Bethlehem and story of each stage of Mary's conception to the birth and wise men. It was so beautiful, peaceful, uplifting and precious - the entire thing.

Over the years in their pursuit to do-it-one-better, they kept adding things, expanding to an adjacent property so they could make it bigger. The last year I went was 2011. It was awful. They practically shoved you through the nativity walk, skimped on the experience of it and made it like a huge maze you had to walk through, giving it a carnival feel. They made the whole focus on the children having characters there that had nothing to do with Christmas, its traditions or anything. Spiderman, Batman, Superman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Cinderella, Big Bird, etc.

I never even saw a tree, the snow was gone, the cocoa and cider vendors were no where - even the military display was gone. It was all focused on commercialism and the church made it feel like they tried to quickly usher people through the nativity story portion so as not offend those who just came to bring their kids to the light display. I was so disappointed I never went again.

I would love to find a display in my area like it again. So glad you and your family enjoyed the weekend! That's wonderful!

Hope you have a great day. :yahoo:

Hope it's something simple that will pass quickly. :)

Thank you! The word has gone out for employees to bring in decorations. So far the only ornament besides the lights is a pig with wings. It'll be fun to see the decorations "blossom" little by little. I'll have to see what leftovers I have from home to contribute.

Aaaawwww that's so nice!! :)

Good afternoon, Christmas Family!

It is very cold and grey out today - a good day to be inside working on paperwork. Yay - that is what I am doing! A bit later I get to do some research and then chores await me this evening. All in all, a good and busy day!

Have a MERRY Monday!!!

Glad you're having a good day Meceka! :)

This is the link to the seller's items that are specific to pets. They sell a bunch of stuff. Looking at my purchase history I see I only paid $44.88 for it and as I said, the shipping was free, which for something that weight was great!

The seller's ID on ebay is: valuemassage

I'm glad you enjoyed The Journey, it sounds amazing.

Christmas tree in the office is up and lighted! (I didn't get to assemble it ... I was working on a job.) Decorations to come. It's fun to see the reactions of co-workers seeing it for the first time---surprise and delight!

That's exciting, enjoy!!!

Good afternoon MMC Family.

I am NOT a happy Christmas elf today. Yesterday was the day we FINALLY got to do our tree. After the online party I started on the lights waiting for my son to get home so we could decorate. We have about 1400 lights on our tree. 400 multi-function white lights and then 1,000 multi-colored.

Last year I bought all new multi-colored lights. I noticed my old ones were dimming so before putting them on the tree last year, I went out and bought 1,000 new ones. Good quality ones too. They were all lit and beautiful last year when we took the tree down, and this year - 3 of the 5 sets are not functioning at all. I went through all 600 of the little bulbs and all 6 fuses. Nothing, nada, zilch, no twinkle. :-o

So I put on the white lights since they go on first and added on the two sets of colored lights that were working. Today I have to go... out there.... and buy more lights so we can finish decorating. Grrrr!!!

What happened to the days when a set of lights worked for years? My dad had the same set of lights on the tree for almost 10 years. I was with him when he bought them when I was 8. He replaced them the year after I graduated high school. LOL He bought new ones and two years later - needed to replace some of those. Ridiculous.

Oh well. Noah said, "I think it still looks beautiful Mom. We could just leave it as it is!" Love that kid. :)

Omgggggggggggggg. Leaving in a few hours. Love live omggggggggggggggggg.

Ohhhhhh feel it. Ohhhhhhhhhh feel it. Omgggg. LOVE LIVE OMGGGGGGGGGGG

Good evening everyone! How was your day? :] Mine turned out to be incredibly good because the fact that my cousin finally became a dad made my day! His wife gave birth to a wonderful baby girl early this morning. I'm very VERY happy for them! ^^ I hope to go to Norway sometime to visit them. :]

I have been in a huge need to share my excitement with someone. ^^

Best wishes to all!

That is a bummer! And so frustrating :/

It will look sparkly soon!!
