Christmas Countdown - 2013

Here is the recipe using the Sugar Cookie marshmallows:

Double Delight Sugar Cookie

1 (16.5 oz.) pkg. refrigerated, sliceable sugar cookies, sliced
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4 C sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
16 jet-puffed Sugar Cookie Marshmallows
2 C fresh raspberries

Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Line 12-inch pizza pan with foil; spray with cooking spray. Arrange cookie dough slices in single layer in prepared pan; press together to completely cover bottom of pan. Bake 14 min.; cool completely. Invert onto plate; carefully remove foil. Turn crust over; place on plate. Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla with mixer until blended; spread onto crust. Top with marshmallows and berries. Cut into 16 wedges. Refrigerate one hour before serving. Refrigerate leftovers.

Sounds heavenly!!

Prayers for family members and friends with some challenges even as we celebrate our favorite season. I wish you and yours good health and sound medical advice too if there is a problem going on.
I am trying to get some wrapping done so I've had to stay clear of the computer a bit!
But I did want to see how you are all doing and say hello...send you all a virtual Christmas hug.
Let's all be safe out there is you are in the path of some of the nasty weather we here in Wisconsin may see.

did a quick read through, praying for you all.
Some of you have such cute pets!
Happy to see more members coming back.

We are expecting a big storm the next few days, lots of ice rain. It was crazy in the store today they tell me. Everyone is getting ready, just in case. We at least have a camp stove so can at least have hot food if the power goes out.

Cheese cake is done baking, now to take LittleCS home again.

I'm having a quick dinner break and then I'm heading to the mall. I thought I was finished shopping but I have not stopped running around yet. I forgot to mention that my husband surprised me while I was out shopping last night and put the tree up. Better late than never. I still have to decorate it, I hope I find the time to do it soon! That's Bella under the tree, she loves sleeping there.

Good evening, MMC!

I do believe I might be better today - being outside in the fresh air and sunshine when taking care of the fur kids seems to have helped me immensely. Rain/snow/ice on the way - nobody is sure what is coming, just that it will be messy. I've been working on an afghan during my spare time - it is going a bit faster now that I have the pattern down. I am on the middle row and just might get it finished by the end of the weekend. That would be nice - could start on a new one! There is paperwork to be done but I think I will do it tomorrow afternoon. I have to eat dinner yet and then I'm not sure what I will do, but it has to be something Christmassy!

Thank you! I got a lot done today, but there's a lot more left to do.

We got word today that we can choose two days to take off between now and New Year's. That was a nice surprise! I've requested the 26th and 27th because Mr. has them off---and so I don't have to go right back to work after Christmas Day.

I think I might be coming down with a cold. I have no time for that - I have too much to do!!

Nooo! Drink hot tea with honey and lemon, or lemon-ginger herbal tea, and get as much rest as you can. Nobody get a cold for Christmas!
