Merry Christmas,

We made it!!!!!

The kids are enjoying their bounty, I spoiled my wifey, and I got some great stuff also, including a large Santa sitting on a chair. I will get a picture of that and post it, I love it!

You should have seen LC's face when he opened up his 42 inch tall nutcracker, it was precious.

I love Christmas day, the sense of relaxation and peace that I feel cannot be matched by any other day of the year. Ralphie is on the tube, just sitting here enjoying it all.

I will probably won't be back until later tonight.

I hope you all enjoy this day

:tree: Merry Christmas to each and everyone of you. God bless you and all of your families....I hope everyone has a blessed Christmas~:rudolph:

Happy Holidays everyone!

Thank you for amazing year waiting for Christmas. I am already looking forward for the next countdown. ^^

I wish you all a nice time with your beloved ones. Enjoy the day! Best wishes!

Good Christmas morning everyone!

The day has arrived. We have counted down all year and it is here. How surreal. My mom woke me up at 8:15 and wanted to begin opening presents. I wanted to sleep a little more. I understand though... there is lots to do today! In a mere few minutes, my mom and I will be going to see my Grandmother, who is in the retirement home, to wish her a Merry Christmas.

I still have to go to my dad's house for a few gifts and everything. I'm looking forward to that. He always surprises me with great things. I think I will drive there after I return from visiting my grandmother. A little busy, but it is CHRISTMAS!!! Wow.

I hope everyone has had a wonderful morning. I hope you all cherished the moments of waking up and gathering around the tree with your families. Despite being 28 and not having and children or anything like that, I still love waking up and spending the moment with my mom. I'm sure you are the same way with your families!

The day is here. Merry Christmas to you all! Thank you for being the best friends on the internet!

Well.
We made it.
Back again to the greatest single day of the year.

And Crown gets their yearly week off from countdowning!
Will pop in from time to time but it could be irregular as I enjoy a break -- and some of the Bowl games!

Thanks once again for a fantastic year of "counting" on each other.
And I can already sense that 2014 will be even better.
<< Is that possible, Crown? >>
You bet! As has been proven time and time again.

Have a great Christmas Season Days 43-50, Folks!

Thank you for your lead, once again, Crown. The year would not go by as fast without you. You help us wake up to Christmas and keep it in our hearts every day. May you enjoy your well-deserved break. Merry Christmas!!

Thank you for leading us through a wonderful year, from milestone to milestone! Enjoy your well-deserved rest before the 2014 thread begins!

I have many wonderful memories of dad renting a projector from the library with a bunch of Christmas movies. He would run them backwards and we would all laugh as the sound track could also be heard talking backwards. It was something he did every year until we all started leaving home. Something special about the hum of the projector in the background while watching a movie in the dark.

Yes, it is special---it's more of an occasion than just popping something into the DVD player. And a really fine film print is so much better than even a DVD. It's something that Mr. and I really enjoy together, and it's an experience that I wish I could share with you all, because I know you'd all appreciate the Christmas rarities we have. Our Christmas Eve film evening is a very cherished tradition for me.

It's just Mr. and me here, but we still sit under the tree---on the floor!---and open our presents. It's a special time to spend together.

Merry Christmas to everyone! I'm enjoying reading about what you did for Christmas and your plans for the day, depending on what time zone you're in. We all have different places to go, different things to do, different dinners, different treats to eat, but at the same time, we're all celebrating the same season of spiritual hope, and of love of family and friends. Even as we go our separate ways today, I feel connected to each one of you. I'm looking forward to sharing Christmas Future with you throughout the year.

We'll be heading to the brother-in-law's before long. Mr.'s brother and sisters and their families will be there, along with his mother, uncle, aunts, and cousins. The youngest family member is now a sophomore in high school---it doesn't seem possible! It seems like only a few years ago that I sat with my feet tucked up on the sofa to protect myself from five little excited nieces and nephews enjoying their Christmas!

Cant Believe it's here

as time flew by this season I'm loving this day but realize tomorrow will be another year wait. Looking forward to coming here and joining you guys. This year a first for us as we are hosting an exchange student from Germany so its his fiRst n last American Christmas ( unless he comes back which we hope) so making the best of it for him.. not being married and having no kids makes no difference to fun at Christmas, none of my wonderful kids are married (27 to 30 yrs old) and we enjoy each others company every Christmas. We get together with extended family for our annual party before Christmas and enjoy the day together on the 25th!
I am so grateful for my kids and that we all love each other. Just dropped off a plate of goodies for my daughter who is working today.

Merry Christmas to all my MMC family! I hope you are all having as wonderful of a Christmas as my family is here in Texas.

Age makes no difference nor does single, married, kids or no kids. Honestly I think some of my favorite Christmas memories were from ages16 to 25 before I was married. I had a job and was able to do more in the way of being able to build or get something wonderful for my parents who always gave so much. I also felt I was contributing more towards the holiday with them. I can assure you my father would never have allowed his 10 yr old daughter on the roof with the lights, but the 22 year old, have at it. LOL

Now married with a son and I barely have time to get my own lights up outside let alone go over to their house and help. LOL

For us today, we too are watching Ralphie. We were going to go to my parents this afternoon/evening, but mom called and it would be better for her if we do it tomorrow. Gosh darn it... you mean I have to have ANOTHER day of Christmas newness to do... *kicks empty gift box*. MAN - I hate when that happens! ROFL

Also means I have another 24 hours to tackle that carving for her. I did engraved glasses just in case the carving didn't work out, but now I can try again, undetered by other preparations. :-) I am too excited!

I keep thinking about Jennifer91, I'm sure they're having a wonderful Christmas week, but would love to see her pop in to say her mom is okay.

Hope all your loved ones are healthy and doing well, both human and furry alike. ;-)

I deeply appreciate you all and pray you have a beautiful, peaceful Christmas day and season!

My Christmas tree was shaking like crazy , this is why...

After she got out of the tree and I put several ornaments back on it, I found her napping here....
