Merry Christmas, again, dear friends!!

We too are watching A Christmas Story We just finished our Christmas pizza! It was extra delicious, as it is on Christmas Day each year.

Adrian just came in from shoveling- the beautiful snow keeps falling- big, white, fluffy flakes! A magical, white Christmas, just like I've missed. So glad to be home!

We opened presents earlier, and are just relaxing on the couch, watching Christmas shows & concerts, with a fire going. So perfect.

All of you are in my heart, Christmas family!!

Snow is falling softly, Palmer is curled up on my feet, snoozing the day away - so peaceful! It has been a far different Christmas than I have ever had before - no family coming over, no big dinner and no gifts. Yet, it has been one of the best ever!!!

I have turkey with cranberry sauce and onion soup mix in the slow cooker - smells so good and it is really making me hungry! After I eat, I am going to watch a few movies: The Man in the Santa Claus Suit, Scrooged and Magoo's Christmas Carol.

I can smell our turkey cooking in the oven, I put 3 apples in it to give it a different flavor. Salt, pepper, nutmeg and a touch of onion powder to season it. Will be making an orange cranberry sauce to go with it.
Served with mash potatoes, gravy, brussel sprouts, cauliflower & stuffing . Apple pie and icecream for dessert if anyone has room. My daughter bought a bottle of red wine to go with dinner.

I am so ready for dinner! I just had wedding soup for lunch a little bit ago - it was delicious! For dinner we are having spaghetti and roasted chicken...plus plenty of sides. Yum!

Guess what movie I'm watching? I'm sure you all are watching it too!!
