@HomemakinGirl
Our schools and many grocers and businesses like Target have already announced they will be closed on Monday. I don't envy anyone attending the Packer game at Lambeau Field tomorrow...I'll stay in the living room with a fire and watch!
It's so nice that you check on your parents and are always thinking of what you can do for others. The world could use many more folks like you for sure.
Be safe out there!

well apparently we are getting some snow tomorrow again. Taking mom to the Toronto Island airport so she can fly out to Vermont tomorrow.
At least it is not so silly cold any more.
My girls have gone to watch Frozen tonight, got free tickets with some movie she bought. So I will go and pick them up when it is over.
Other than that I am just relaxing tonight.

I hope your mom has a safe trip. Be careful out there!
Enjoy your evening Christmasstar!

The same to you, my friend. Thoughts are on the way to Texas for a happy and healthy New Year to you and your family!

Brand new Countdown 2014!

Happy New Year to all my MMC friends!!!

Don't forget bread and toilet paper, LOL!

Good morning!
I hope everyone had a happy and safe New Years Eve!
My oldest had an opening shift this morning so we woke up early. My other two will be going in to work later this afternoon. Not too much planned for me. I am feeling a bit down today. I'm still trying to get my house in order so that will keep me busy. And I have to see how much snow we have heading our way, I may run to the supermarket for a few things.
I hope everyone is well and has a great day!

Just added another Christmas themed bookmark. cheesy

I was watching Home Alone 2 earlier.

I love their site - I found so many great things on during the season, that I wouldn't have known was on. It looks like it will run all year too, so now I will refer to that page, whenever I want some Christmas TV.

Happy New Year everyone! This is my first post in the countdown thread! I wanted to jump in here to say hello before I retire to the bedroom to watch some true crime mystery..sounds fun huh.:) I hope everyone had a great Christmas and happy New Year...I know a lot of us including myself kind of feel the blues from time to time but honestly this year has not been too bad yet with the PCB's. The last of my and Brandi's family left on the 2nd and that was kind of sad but at the same time it was good to think about getting into a new routine of back to work etc etc.

The weather in the East and Midwest looks BRUTAL! We are really quiet here with lows in the single digits and highs in the upper 20's which is normal really. We have not had much snow at all in the last week or 2. We really need some new snow because I swear we still have November snow on the ground and it's brown! I still have about 7 inches in my back yard but by weds we have a chance for some flurries so that is a start!! you guys in the Midwest and New England Bundle up please!!!

Well that is about all I can think of right now. I go back to work on Monday since being off the last 2 and half weeks so it will be downright brutal too but I hope to be able after that first day back to hang around here more so everyone have a good rest of your weekend and I will talk to yall tomorrow!!g'night!

Gnight

Hey ya all, just checking in for the first time today, been really busy with shoveling snow, un-packing, playing with the fireplace and just doing some odds and ends. I also had a lovely task today of rebuilding a toilet. It all started with broken (rusted) bolts, and when I started taking it apart, I noticed that everything inside of it was not in good shape. So, I decided to be pro-active and replace the wax ring, new supply hose, replaced all the parts inside the tank, etc....

It was a dirty job, but someone had to do it, and besides now it's done and it should be good to go for another ten years... I guess I'll do the other toilets in the house as well in the next coming weeks just to be on the safe side.

I'm going to do a few more thimgs and then call it quits fr the night and sit down and relax for an hour or two before going to bed. cheesy

I hope you have a relaxing evening xmastidings!

Happy New Year to you, too, BoxerMom. Were your kiddos off school? I always loved snow days as a kid and prayed for them when I was a teacher, LOL!

Happy New Year my Christmas Friends!

We went to a friend's house last night for dinner and some wine. Pretty low key. Today we are taking down the tree and outside lights.

We are supposed to get a snow storm starting tomm morning into Fri. They are saying 6-10 inches. I do have to run to the grocery store as the kiddos go back to school tomorrow. I hope they can get in a 1/2 day tomm and will probably have Fri off.

Have a wondeful day!

They've either watched it 4 or 5 times since I posted that. Trust me, it's only 4 pm here, they'll watch it a few more before bed.

Just remember, in a few years you'll miss the Grandma Got... marathons. It will be a great memory and one you will laugh about. We get that way with The Wiggles now.

Just had a quick dip in the pool. .. I ask you... who puts the cover over the pool on a weekend in the middle of a heatwave!! Scanned the garden for weeds and those errant plants from bird droppings, fixed some watering system issues and now lunch.

This is what my pool looks like right now.

Which site is that, Sugar?

LC would get along great with you, he is a marshmallow connoisseur. cheesy

So is DS. They wanted hot chocolate tonight with marshmallows and after I put them in the hot chocolate, he ran off with the bag. He was eating them and he said "My belly hurts." I told him it was probably because he ate too many! He loves though things!

EA will watch pretty anything, when it comes to children's programming, but when DS is involved, he influences her, then they both decide they want to watch the same thing over and over again for days to weeks. As long as they are also playing and doing their educational activities, I am fine with it. I will just smile and just go with it. I am just blessed that I can enjoy the fact that they can watch it over and over again!

Amen!
