Christmas Countdown - 2014

I thought we would hit 60,000 in 2013, but I admit that I dropped the ball. It was almost impossible to get caught up and post between trying to maneuver in our hallway kitchen and crammed front room and helping Hubby when he needed me. I had the computer on, but just could not post. I promise to do better this year!

Life comes first and just remember that. We all know you want to be here, but we know you have other priorities going on.

I wanted to be here more too and there were days I didn't even sign into this beautiful site, which made me sad, being the fact I have Tapatalk on my phone, but I told myself that they know I am thinking about them and MMC will still be there when I get back! That's way to look at it, my friend!

Maggie and Molly are hanging in there. They do not like these cold temperatures. When I let them out in the back yard they can't seem to get back inside fast enough. Bentley is still as crazy as ever. He's lucky he's so cute!
I read that Palmer has been sneezing and coughing. I will keep her in my prayers!

You're welcome! I just realized by seeing Snowflake's post last night, that Palmer is a girl...sorry. How is she feeling today? I did get some sleep, probably 4 1/2 hours or so. Through the course of the night, I think the kids only woke me up 3 times and they both ventured over to my bed at some point. When I woke up this morning, both of them were in my bed!

When my son was two and three, we had to watch Curious George about three times a day! I can still quote that movie word for word.

Harlowe has a tough time, too. Yearns to be outside, but can't stand for long once out there. We walk fast!

Sad news, my MIL had to have Billy put to sleep. He wasn't responding to any of the procedures the vet was trying. The vet told her he was suffering and that there really wasn't anything else to do.

Please keep my MIL in your thoughts and prayers, she is devastated by Billy's passing. He was nearly 16 years old.

I am so sorry - your MIL is in my prayers!

I wonder if it's a copyright/legal issue, or something akin to DVD regions.

It would be legal reasons I think which ok, because I support artists and writers etc earning a living... as much as I can

Hi gang...been spending some quiet evenings by the tree and really enjoying these 12 days of Christmas. No pressure to wrap, bake or be anywhere but where I am! I hope all of you are safe and warm. We are in an arctic blast in Wisconsin with still colder temps due on Monday and Tuesday. I know many of you are struggling in some pretty rough weather- take care friends.
