You're welcome! I just realized by seeing Snowflake's post last night, that Palmer is a girl...sorry. How is she feeling today? I did get some sleep, probably 4 1/2 hours or so. Through the course of the night, I think the kids only woke me up 3 times and they both ventured over to my bed at some point. When I woke up this morning, both of them were in my bed!

She is still coughing and sneezing a bit and is hugging the heat register. Thank you for asking! I'm glad you were able to get some sleep! Stay warm and safe!!

Already been to buy groceries and I have the dip ready for the games and the enchilada casserole cooking for tonight.

This area is now under a winter storm warning - I'm hearing different snowfall totals so not sure what exactly to expect. Stocked up on pet food, milk and other necessities so as long as the electricity stays on all will be good.

I never did finish my book last night but I did watch "The Year Without a Santa Claus", "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and "For Better for Worse Christmas". My mom loved that comic strip and got me interested in reading it every day. Good stuff!

tree is down and put away in storage to come out again in just 314 days from now the Lord willing.
I am slowly putting the rest of my Christmas items away in their boxes.
Then I have to put the room back to its regular shape.

I was out hunting gas line antifreeze for awhile but I'm watching it now. I'm not quite sure I would call it a game though. It looks like the Colts defense still thinks they are on the practice field.

Stay Safe, Meceka!!! There are towns here already issuing snow emergencies and telling everyone to stay off of the roads tomorrow and the snow hasn't even started. I'll be cranking my heat up tonight and tomorrow in case we lose power.

The news here is calling the snow storms in USA 'An arctic blast'

The news is right - it is going to get very cold after all the snow falls so it will be sticking around a bit. The high on Monday here in mid-Michigan is going to be 1 and the low around -7 and that isn't factoring in the wind chill. The last time it got this cold out was when I was in college - the university shut down for several days and they almost never close. There have been grumblings about shutting schools for Monday/Tuesday, but so far I have not seen anything posted.

Hey everybody! Hope this finds y'all doing great. Dr. Wifey and I took the baby and went out to eat and get some baby stuff. Seems like that's all we do....lol. She starts her full-time babysitter on Monday, so we had to get some for her house.

I don't know about y'all, but it's about to get really cold here. Some of my friends up North are getting it worse than us, but it rarely gets single digits here...I may freeze what little hair I have left off my head. That would be tragic! A little snow is coming our way, also. WalMart was crazy tonight, so we didn't go. They say an inch of snow/ice down here and people go crazy.
