Okay, y'all have been to busy for me to get caught up tonight. Combine that with the fact that I am just brain dead after spending so much time out in the cold and lack of sleep. So I'm going to sign off for now.

I eat blue steak... so if they get it wrong I get another steak Can you believe some places precook their steak and just warm it? That's an offence to Aussies!!!

I didn't even know what blue steak was, until I googled it. Interesting!

Me too! LOL...they cooked the same steaks, so no, not at all. They didn't do anything. I was pretty dissatisfied. I waitressed all through high school and then my first two years of college, so I feel bad for the waiters, because if the kitchen is bad, it reflects on the wait staff, but that's the way it is, like it or not. Like you said, hopefully next time we go back, it will be better. It had become my favorite chain restaurant here. Keeping my fingers crossed it was just one bad time!

Too bad they didn't give you each a comped dessert or something

Yep, kitchen's misstep. Too bad the waitstaff are the ones who it affects.

Well g'night everyone! We are still getting snow showers...they were predicting just 2 to 4 inches the next 2 days but just today alone we have received 5inches and are under a winter storm warning, my backyard has 10 inches depth. I just brought snowball in from playing Frisbee out there he loves running in it! I will talk to you guys tomorrow. I talked brandi into letting me watch Home Alone 2 on the tube tonight while we drift off to sleep. I have not seen that yet in the new year!!!

Got called in to work and boy was it busy! Glad for the hours as I missed some because of the storms.
With Elvis movies on all day it was hard to say yes to going in, but watching again "It happened at the Worlds Fair" is on right now.

I am tired so just going to relax and do nothing for awhile.

Wow...in honor of Elvis' birthday, Carl has Viva Las Vegas playing on the big screen, with other Elvis movies in waiting.

Plus, the king's music is playing in the background through out the Pines.

But, Carl wearing that Elvis wig and jumpsuit is a little much...

Someone needs to tell Carl that "My Humps" is not an Elvis song. cheesy

Elvis had a birthday today...you would think it's a national holiday when you live as close to his hometown as we do...never got into Elvis, but Graceland is cool.

Rain/ice/sleet moving in...doubt we have school tomorrow, but hopefully. We got basketball games to play and I need to go to a game.

Y'all got any plans this weekend? We are going to go on a date...just the two of us....we are going to eat and buy diapers! Hopefully, I can talk her into going to a movie!

When I was leaving for work this morning, my car wouldn't start again. I ended up being late by the time I got it started. I stopped off and filled the tank and put some drygas in too.
Work was, well, work. Enough said.

Another hour cut tomorrow, so I will be home earlier than usual.

I should probably get to sleep, early morning ahead.

Before I go I just want to leave you with a musical interlude.
I have chosen the song "Joy" by Dave Beegle a couple times as a Christmas song of the day. It is great!!! Close your eyes and enjoy.
