Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good morning. It's rainy, foggy but a lot warmer than usual, the temperature is supposed to get up to the lower 60's today. I thought I would start the day by making a fire in the fireplace and then just sit back and enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee. Everyone else is still sleeping yet, so i'm going to relax for an hour or so before I start making any noises. Looks like today is going to be a day of inside projects.....

I have decided to re-build another toilet, then I'm going to work I the garage and basement, run a cat 6 cable for my on thru the attic, etc, etc, etc... I'll check back a little later to see how your day is coming along~​

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's a rainy foggy day here too with a high in the mid 40's. Like Star showed in her pictures, the snow is really melting. It's hard to believe that we had 15 inches on the ground just a few days ago and now I can see the grass in some areas. Oh well. There is 2 snowstorms predicted for next week, so that may not last long. Not a whole lot on my agenda for today. I just need to run to the grocery store this morning and I may stop a few other places to see if they have any Christmas stuff left. Then it will be back home to fix some snacks and watch the football games. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Its so foggy here too, kind of dark and eerie. I heard we may get a thunderstorm. Be careful driving if you go out, enjoy the football games!!!

I think my daughter better accept the fact that she can't pick and choose her shifts. And if she starts at 6:00 a.m. she can't stay up all night! I guess its hard for an 18 year old to go to sleep when most of her friends are just heading out for the night.

When I first got up a couple hours ago, I took Harlowe for a long walk. It is so nice out! Flurries and 32 degrees. It looks like a winter wonderland here again :wink:

Looking forward to a day of relaxation, a little work around the house, some movies, and more walk with Harlowe.

I'm glad you were able to sleep in, I would love to do that one of these days!
Your weather sounds perfect, I'm sure it looks just beautiful outside!
I already did my food shopping and I am about to start some chores, after I finish my cup of coffee! I think I am going to the mall later this afternoon, I just got a ten dollar coupon to spend in JCPenney. I might as well buy myself something! I will be passing Barnes and Noble on the way home so I will probably stop there too.

Hope everyone is doing great today. We'll be on the road again in a bit. 1,480 miles to go. Drove 600 miles yesterday as we didn't leave till 6:30pm. I gotta say, going 480 miles on one tank of gas was suuuper nice. LOL Then only paying $35 to fill it up, even better. Though I still love my truck! :-)

Some prayers would be appreciated. Bud had some sharp pains in his side last night about 2 hours after we left. From some other symptoms earlier and this last incident, we're thinking he may have either a kidney or gall stone. Not excruciating, but enough to make him wince and want to sit still. He has a high pain threshold so for him to say something it's bad. He was asleep and I was still driving at 2:30am. I deliberately chose a hotel that shared an exit with the hospital just in case. I think he'll be fine, but I'd rather be safe. ;-)

Hope you all have a blessed and beautiful Saturday!!! I'll probably continue being the driver so no catch-up for me yet. I'm going to try and go 10 hours today if Bud doesn't object, because I really want to see New Mexico and Colorado in the light of day tomorrow. :-)

LOL Last night Bud bought a Christmas travel mug for me that was on clearance at a Kangaroo gas station. Specifically because, 1) It was Christmas and 2) It read, "The Roo Mug." ROFL. Our black Lab, Rossi is nicknamed, "RooRoo," or "Roo," for short. So Merry Christmas to you all as we continue to find Christmas clearance items!
