The Santa I won on Ebay came in yesterday, here is what he looks like.

It is called "Joy To The World."


My modest collection is now up to 15, not counting the smaller tree ornaments.

I love this santa Xmas!!!!

LOL!!!! I doubt yours would be as bad as mine!! My bedroom is pretty small. So in order for my queen size bed to fit, it has to be pushed up against one of the walls. To get at everything underneath of it then, I have to tear off that mattress and box springs.

I don't have to worry because we bought the ensemble. We were considering ways to prevent my swings between OCD and hoarding from getting out of control.

Where'd my tree go?!!!

This is where my tree was standing for the last 47 days.

Looks so empty in here without it.


Santa is there for a little while, I can't remember what we had on top of the electric fireplace before Christmas.

I'm joining you in the organizing and staying that way!!! It's the closets and underneath the beds for me. I've been slowly working on it and have the bathroom closet and my bedroom closet done. Still working on underneath my bed. Next is mom's room and then the coat closet.

Your mum lets you declutter her stuff?????

Thanks, HmG. His temp is back up to 101. He hasn't had a fever since early this morning, so I think it sounds like a viral infection, but I will keep an eye on him and if it doesn't go down, he will go to the doctor in the morning. His temp wouldn't have stayed down like this all day, if it was the flu. I know typically fevers do get worse at night, but even with the flu, a classic symptom is a high temp, so I don't think it's that or I hope not.

Hope he gets better soon!!

Winding down to fall asleep soon, just watching "Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes" (2011) it was such a good movie, and getting ready for the sequel coming out later this year. No silly ape costumes in these movies. cheesy

It has been a long productive day, I just switched out my mini-sd card in my cellphone from Christmas music to my off-season music. I am already looking forward to replacing it back in Oct-Nov.

Your mum lets you declutter her stuff?????

Nope. I won't touch her stuff. But the upper shelves in her closet and underneath her bed we use to store household stuff. So I'll go through it and get rid of anything we don't need anymore.

Here is my favorite son Ray presenting me with his first ever dish he cooked in cooking class today

Braised chicken with sweet peppers and Sweet onions with braised potatoes. Very yummy!

Is there enough for visitors?

I thought I had a giant spider in my pool with me but after trying to keep the water still it turns out it's a furry piece of bark. WHEW!!!

Bless Adrian's heart, he's been helping to push a lot of cars that have gotten stuck. 8 inches of snow here, and the plows have yet to come by =( There's a lot of blowing & drifting snow, too- with 30 mph winds. And it's getting cold! Brr! I have the fireplace going, and have just started dinner.

How nice is Adrian!!!

Merry Morning! How was your evening. I put the boys down a little earlier than usual and then watched part of the Golden Globes and some shows.

This morning Isaac has his 2yr assessment with the health clinic. We live just around the corner from it so that will be easy. I am looking forward to it because I have been slightly concerned about his level of speech for his age. He speaks baby talk a lot but he is not saying proper words yet. I am sure it is nothing to worry about though. In fact in the last week he has attempted ''abbul'' (apple) and ''shu'' (shoe) . This was a huge encouragement for me so it's only a matter of time. It will be nice to have the health adviser re assure me. I am not overly worried but well you know what I mean. I will let you all know how it goes. Thanks for listening

Reading back over the first posts of the year left me wondering what are some of the goals you all have for the year? Not resolutions, but goals.
I have the goal of getting out of debt. It will take all year, include lots of sacrifice, but will be so worth it.

Stay focused and don't give in to peer pressure and you'll do great. Just chip away at it and you will see it go down.

I picked the humidifier up for Maggie because she was coughing, I'm still using it. I accidentally dropped the first one and broke it. I was so mad, I had to go buy another. It's worth it though, I run it every night and I really do think it helps her. She's still coughing off and on. The doctor wants her to have another chest xray, I'm taking her Thursday. I'm telling you I should have a part time job just to pay for the vet bills!

I hope her xray comes up perfect!!!
