It's pathetic the lack of respect some people have for others!!! Makes me worry about the kids they will possibly have and influence towards similar behavior.

Xmas - How is LC feeling this morning? My son also loves Reel Steel. Your ebay Santa is wonderful! I am also looking forward to the sequel to Rise of the Apes. I hope James Franco is in it!

HMG - Your pups look cute in their new bows. I hope Maggie's xray goes well, let us know.

Snowflake - I was blown away by the photo of your heavy snowfall .WOW!

Xmastidings- I hope you are doing ok after your accident. You don't seem to be having much luck on the roads these days. Stay safe.

CAH - I am also a neat freak. I need all the cupboards and cabinets to be organised and tidy. it just makes life easier that way!

Virginia - The assessment went well, thank you. He has been referred to a speech therapist. How old is your first?

I hope you all had a better night than me. I could not sleep. I kept worrying about my mum and brother. I am fearful that it will happen again and paranoid they try to break in next time. I hope it was just random juvenile delinquents and an isolated incident. I have been so homesick and constantly miss my family. This just makes it harder. Thanks again for being there, I sure do appreciate having you all to talk to.

Thanks for the well wishes regarding Isaac's appointment. It went well but he has been referred to a speech therapist. I am not worried though, I think it is only a matter of time he starts talking. I will be working with him at home until we see the therapist as the referral can take awhile.

I have a few errands to do today but I don't feel like it so I will leave it for tomorrow I think.

He is 24 now and once he started school his desire and need to communicate improved dramatically. Being our first and being isolated from other people and conversation impacted on his speech development. No problems now. I am glad everything turned out fine for your boys. Yes you are exactly right about having another perspective. He is our second and I guess sometimes you forget that things can progress differently to the first experience.

Another house got all their glass windows and doors broken to. It seems like it is a group of idle people going around to good neighbourhoods to cause trouble. My brother had all the glass replaced and will be having some security cameras installed. She is really shaken up still but she is ok. Thank you again.

Thanks Festive. Running cold water was the first thing I did. It still hurts and the skin is angry red and raised. I can't find the burn cream but I think there's some aloe somewhere. I'll try that.
