And my favorite that I ummed and ahhhed and had to talk myself into is this. I love wireworks and birds and trees. $13 reduced from $42. When I got home I realised something is missing off the top. I'll pop back into the store to see if they have found it.
I hope the stores run out soon because my pocket won't stand for it!

So pretty! Great find!

It's just like the movie Marley & Me. The movie and the book tore me apart, but it was good and delivered such a wonderful message. It was also based on a true story. How could you not love Marley? :-D

True!! I love Marley & Me ❤️

Okay, teacher talking here: Sometimes sad movies help us work through sadness and grief in other areas of our life so we don't keep it all bottled up. For example, when Old Yeller originally came out (yes, originally way back when, LOL), I went to the theater to see it and cried so much (I think I was in 5th grade). Our dog had just been killed by a car, and I was able to cry and work through my grief. I do have to say, though, that I had to keep telling myself that it was only a movie. I had to do the same thing the previous year when I went to see Love Me Tender and Elvis Presley's character died. Sheesh, I even did it when I went to see Gone With the Wind. Man, I must have been morbid, LOL! But, really, I was able to express my grief and became a better writer (I really only write for myself) because of those emotions.

I totally agree with you, though. Even though these are only movies, a lot of these movies are based on true stories and I think over the years, movies and shows have helped my emotions.

I agree with you

There are movies for every emotion.

And sometimes you want or need a certain genre, depending on what's going on in your life.

It's definitely a personal choice, and each movie is all about perception.

Spot on, Snowflake. :)

You are behind in your coffee drinking, LOL! What kind of coffee maker do you have? I love our Keurig!

Love mine as well! Just saw on my Facebook page, that Keurig is running a 20% sale on K-cups. Good deal!

Thanks, FrostyTSM. We are busy today, have the Pinewood Derby tomorrow, and then will be watching football on Sunday. What about you? Even though I have no kitchen, I have been making goodies for us to have during the games and our nightly TV shows.

Busy, busy, busy weekend! Enjoy. I bet the boys with have fun with the derby!

We are going to the Elks Lodge for goodies tonight (in about 20 minutes). I made pimiento cheese to take with us. I just sneaked a taste and it is divine!!! Hmmm. I might have to make some for Sunday's game!

Hope you enjoyed the evening!

Good Morning, Wacky Weekend Warriors.

And what a great morning!
<< Why, Crown? >>
Well, just look at the count!

Days to the Season: 299
Days to Christmas Day: 341

See.
We have reached the 200's to the Season!
<< Great, indeed! >>

A tad warmer yesterday.
Just enough to get us to really notice the return chill today.
We have started off this weekend at just under 32 degrees.

Have a Sensational Saturday and a Wonderous Weekend, my Friends!

You're welcome! How does Adrian seem to be feeling?

I think he's starting to feel better, still staying in bed most of the day, which is helping =]

Thanks for asking!

Good evening!
I thought my allergies were acting up this morning but I'm starting to wonder if I might be coming down with something. I hope I'm wrong. I already started taking Cold Eeze just in case, I'll see what happens. I'm going to turn in and try to get some rest.
I hope everyone had a great day!
See you in the morning!
Goodnight MMC!

Hope you were able to get a good nights rest and are feeling better this morning.

Good evening,

I made it through work today, but I am still feeling lousy. I am still going to try to make it through tomorrow, and then I have Sunday off.

Nothing else really not going on, but heading to bed soon.

I hope you all had a good day.

Good night, everyone.

Hope you are able to make it through work, but don't push yourself as you know and I know, it will make you feel worse. Hope you soon start feeling better, friend. Praying for you.

I picked up all of this for $2.60. They were 20cents each!!!!

Looks like you had a very successful shopping trip!
