Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a breezy day here with a high around 30 degree's. At least the sidewalk hasn't blown back over so I don't have to get out there and shovel again. With the 3 inches we got yesterday, we are now up to 32 inches for the season with 4 more snowfall's predicted this week. We are shooting for a spot on the top 5 snowiest winter chart. Not much going on here today. Just have some chores to do and then I'll kick back and watch football. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

You are getting a lot of snow this year! Our temperatures are going to drop back in to the teens over the next week. I'm hoping we'll get some more snow soon.
Enjoy the football Made, have a great day!

Just have to share what I bought, MC: 50s TV Classics and the Original Amateur Hour. I also bought Christmas in Wonderland, A Family Thanksgiving, Route 66 Collection, Christmas Snow, and America's Scenic Drives.

Nice finds!!!

anyone know where my medium size leaf cutter is? I have cleaned out a cupboard and 3 drawers looking for it. I also got rid of a bunch of junk that I do not know why I was hanging on to !

I can promise you I didn't borrow it! I am not a decorator! Hope you can find it!

I love the Countdown, especially the one that goes on in the background. It really helps with PCBs, especially when we break through the 100s markers.

Our temps have been in the 70s this week, but I would trade with you, especially if we could get some snow.

Hmmm. I guess my word for the day is "especially," LOL!!!

Good Morning, Play-Off Friends.

Yes, the NFL playoffs resume today.
I've always been an NFC fan so I'll likely support wichever of the 2 remaining NFC teams prevails vs the AFC champion.

And what else resumes today?
Well, I think you know:

Days to the Season: 298
Days to Christmas Day: 340

And now that we are safely into the 200's and getting comfortable again, we must take heed of the next looming Milestone.
It's only 24 days ahead.
And it's the ONE QUARTER MILESTONE TO THE SEASON!
<< No, Crown! It's not possible. Already?? >>
Yep. And a quick glance at the Milestone chart at post #1 of this thread confirms it.

It was quite cold all day yesterday and I never saw the thermometer get out of the 30's all day.
It should be better today but for now, we have begun the day at a still chilly 35 degrees here in the capital city.

Have a Super Sunday.
And may your team of choice in each conference prove victorious on the gridiron today!

I have no horse left in the race, but I dislike both the Pats and the Broncos, so I will probably pull for the NFC, especially Seattle since they have never won a Super Bowl.

Hi meceka. You must love everything in the store. I would find it hard to let anything go. I have recently been to second hand stores and found some brooches for $2 each, on looking the stamps up they are worth $70-$100 each. Someone must have just thrown their grandparents stuff to charity without thinking they were of any value. I only bought them because I liked them, they aren't to everyone's taste and that must have been why they ended up there. I've noticed a trend towards mint condition toys. Do you stock those too?

Hi, Virginia! Yes, I do love just about everything I put in the store. Some things are harder to part with than others. What a deal you found on the brooches! I have been collecting brooches since I was in 4th grade and received one for the Christmas exchange gift that year. It was a gold-toned seal - I loved it! My collection is huge now because I pick up what I like, too, not what is worth something (although sometimes I have found a good deal here and there). I haven't parted with any of them as of yet and I really don't think I will in the near future. As to toys, I rarely luck out and find something that is in great shape and in my price range. If I do find a good one, it doesn't last long in the store. Happy hunting!

Good morning everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend... I have been rather busy taking down my xmas decorations. I found out Friday for sure that I will be deployed to Korea for 9 months I have been there before back in 94 and 95 when I was just a senior Airman so I know what to expect I will still be able to be in contact here, and I should be home by Christmas 2014!

Thank you for you service. I am glad you will be able to check in here.

Is your family able to go with you?
