Good evening,

Looks like a slower than usual night on here tonight.

I spent most of my day laying down, I also canceled out on taking my boys to Cub Scouts tonight, just did not feel up to it.

The Bruins won an exciting game, I tried napping but I couldn't not watch the game.

I have tomorrow off, usual day off, so one more day to rest and hopefully get better. I really don't want to go to the doctor.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

This is earlier than my regular posting time, but Nancy and I are going to Savannah this morning, and I'll be all day. I thought I'd drop a quick note before we go. She's having a few tests today at the doctor's office, and they said to plan to stay a while. I don't think it's anything to really worry about, but I'd appreciate some prayers and kind thoughts for her.

In the meantime, I'm going to have another cup of coffee and a few more reduced-fat Oreos before we go.

BEE. U. TIF. UL Day!!!

It was about 60 degrees today, nice and sunny. Took baby for a walk, picked up the house, got some work done, and visited with my folks. Now, it's back to work.

It was 60 at 2:00 pm, now we stand at 45. It's going to keep dropping until it hits around 15 tomorrow night around 6:00 pm. Gonna be chilly, but not as cold as some of you! Y'all stay warm!

I'm off, time to head to bed. No ballgames tomorrow night, but it will still be a heck of day. I've got some rough stuff to deal with. Hope some of the involved parties cooled down over the weekend.

The last time it snowed we got a foot. I am watching the news right now and they are increasing the accumulation for tomorrow. They say we may see up to 14 inches. I am thinking about heading back out to the supermarket in a little while. I'm afraid if I wait until tomorrow there wont be anything left!
Two of my daughters work at the outlets and they are usually good about closing during a snowstorm. My middle one just started a new job at Aldi. She is supposed to work tomorrow afternoon in to the evening, during the storm. I'm hoping they will close the store early! I will definitely be driving her in!

Well it's been quite the day. Mom's migraine is getting better thankfully, so we didn't have to go to the doctor's for her to get a shot. My sister was also in a lot of pain this morning though so I ended up taking her to the ER instead. We all thought it was a kidney stone but the tests all came back negative. So the doctor at the ER thinks it's an ulcer. So they told her what to take and if it's not better in a couple of days, she is supposed to follow up with her regular doctor.

So needless to say, I didn't get anything done today. I also see that I am way behind on here. I'll try to get back here later and catch up but I won't make any guarantee's.

Life with teens is so much fun!
When my daughter wanted to get a tattoo I told her to wait until she turned 18, think about the type she wanted, look up all the info on it and if she still wanted it at that time I would support her choice. She did get it, but not until she turned 24, which was great because she paid for it! LOL.

Well, the wife just called said we are having breakfast for dinner tonight! Man, I just love breakfast for dinner...

Well, it's been a long day here at the office so I'm going to pack it up and call it a night. Think I'll make a little stop at home depot on the way home and pick up a few things. With the snow coming tomorrow, I'm going to stay home. so then this way, I will have a few supplies to complete a couple of honey-Do projects on my list.... See Ya!

I told my daughter the same exact thing today, I said if you still want it when you're 18 then do it. My oldest daughter has a friend that ended up with a nasty infection after getting her belly button pierced. Thats why I'm nervous. I guess if she takes care if it she'll be fine.
That's great that your daughter took your advice, it's funny that she waited so long!

I did the same thing as CS's daughter, my parents asked me to wait & I did. Until I was 25! I still have my belly button pierced, and take good care of it. I have never had an infection =)

When I wrote that earlier, the weather people were saying less than an inch, since then we are now in a winter storm watch expecting 4-8 inches. That was issued only an hour later. It's funny how quickly things change when it comes to weather forecasts.

LOL, they are funny! They never even told us last week that it changed. We were supposed to get 1-1 inches, and got 9.5!

That is too bad. Hope it will re-open soon, and that records weren't destroyed. So glad that no one was injured.

Okay, I've read all the posts but just don't have the energy to respond tonight. So just know that I'm praying for all of you and hope everyone stays safe and warm in the snow!!!

When my daughter wanted to get a tattoo I told her to wait until she turned 18, think about the type she wanted, look up all the info on it and if she still wanted it at that time I would support her choice. She did get it, but not until she turned 24, which was great because she paid for it! LOL.

My kids are tight with their own money so during that phase I told them they could have it if they could tell me all about the process, had a look at the tattoo parlours, checked the artistic skills of the people who do it (don't want a swallow that looks like pteradactyl!!), got quotes and they had to pay. One of my sons bought the belly ring for his younger sister for her birthday. I waited a lot longer for mine!!!
