I just read through the posts quick but I'm going to sign off a little early tonight. My youngest ended up having to go in to work this evening and I have to pick her up soon. It was nice to have a snow day today but we will be back to our regular routine tomorrow.

I am just the opposite, Xmas. There isn't a roller coaster or water slide that I am NOT afraid of!

Uh oh, Carl saw this new water slide on the web today, now he wants to build it bigger at the Pines!!!

Today I picked up Emmet Otter's Jug-Band Christmas for $5 at Wal-Mart. That is such a cute movie!

I got them from Amazon, I have bought most of them from there over the years. I have also bought some from EBay in the past. And a few from local Hallmark stores.

Long day here, got called into work and it has been a very busy day there.
It is nice to get the extra hours.
Still quite chilly here at -16c (3f) with a wind chill of -22c (-7f)

Going to have a quiet evening at home, relax and maybe finish working on the rose leaves.

Well, I just lost the whole post I typed, so I will sign off until tomorrow. I took my sinus infection medication and the Mucinex (also suggested by my doctor), so I hope to be on the road to recovery soon! Have a great rest-of-the-evening, everyone, and a restful night and a great beginning to tomorrow. TTYL

Well the doctor says I'm suffering from a bad stomach bug, mixed with head cold. This has knocked me on my butt, but it is nothing severe which is a relief. He says I am at the tail end of this and should be back to normal in a few days. One more day off tomorrow, and I should hopefully be back to work on Friday. (not that I really want to go) cheesy

I might take some time tomorrow and work on updating my resume while it's quiet and if I feel up to it.

That is good news that you are on the road to recovery. Take it easy mate.

Help me!!! Wife is watching a Twilight movie again!!!

Hope you start feeling an improvement soon Seawaters. My husband had a sinus infection last winter which kept coming back. However they don't really administer a lot of medication over here. I hope the medicine makes a difference.

It's just very cold! -12 right now, -30 windchill. High of -4. The coldest part of the day is supposed be around 8:00 am. So strange!

Under three weeks away now from Christmas Season 2014 Milestone number two, the 1/4 Season marker.

Our light dusting of snow disappeared by about noon yesterday.
My car doors were frozen shut. A seasonal hazard.
Should be bright and sunny today and about 5 degrees warmer than our low 30's high yesterday.
We have started today here at a cold 19 degrees.

Have a Thrilling Thursday and an Exciting Expectation of the Eve of the Weekend tomorrow, Everybody!

It's not that I'm afraid of, it's that the roller coaster make me sick. When I was "younger", I tread lightly because I know I'm still younger, but I'm talking teen days and before I kids, I could ride any roller coaster and amusement park ride and it wouldn't bother me, but now, everything does. I'm not sure what the change, but it all really bothers my stomach.
