Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

Nancy finally got her results from the doctor, and everything looks good. She's so relieved! She still has to do some physical therapy for TMJ, but she's fine otherwise (like I tell her all the time!).

It's pretty doggone chilly here in south GA this morning, with a high of 42° planned. They're even talking about snow this Tuesday!
I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

So glad to hear Nancy got good results at the doctors! Here's hoping the therapy works for her!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's a cold morning here in central Indy where we currently stand at -5. We should get up to a high of 18 this evening though and then it's going to snow overnight and tomorrow morning. Then again on Sunday. So it's going to be a weekend of shoveling snow for me. At least we are going to stay above 0 the whole time. Today though, I have some work to do around the apartment and then I'll probably run to the grocery store this evening along with the rest of the city. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you're having a great day, buddy! Stay safe and warm in all that snow!

They are exploding everywhere. They have no natural enemies. My neighbor will sit on his porch at night and shoot them in his front yard.

Now that to me is just scary!!!

Thanks! It went pretty smoothly---only 8 pages, mostly boilerplate. I hope there are no "fire drills" this afternoon.

Actually, there was a three-alarm fire a couple blocks away this morning---we could see the flames from here. The firemen hooked up a gigantic length of hose to a hydrant across from our building. We figured they must be having trouble with frozen hydrants. The hose is still out there.

That's a big fire and such a shame. Seeing that they report no injuries as of now, hope that continues!

Are you sure you didn't lose it in a snowbank while shoveling? :whisper:

I think it's the dread of knowing that I'm going have to do it tomorrow after tonight's storm and then again Sunday after the storm that morning. Not to mention the looming -15 to -20 temps next Monday through Wednesday.

Perhaps you can get away with shoveling once after both storms are done. That's what I do. :playing:

I wish I could but if I wait after the storm tonight into tomorrow morning, everyone from my apartment building will walk up and down it tomorrow and it will get packed down into a sheet of ice. So it's best to clean it off before that happens.

Welcome to the countdown!!!!

Thanks! So, by "your" apartment building, do you mean that you are the landlord?

Good afternoon, friends! Hope you're all enjoying the day!

Nope, I just live here. Our maintenance staff isn't very good about shoveling though. It will be next Wednesday before they get around to do it.

You could say he is the maintenance man!

Ah! Makes sense- though I hope you get a rent break for that.

DH and I keep saying that when he retires, which he can retire in his 40's from the fire department (technically, don't know whether he will or not!), but that we want to move to SC. We'll see!!!
