I'm currently removing all the pre-light lights from an artificial Christmas tree that my grandmother gave to me a few weeks ago. She got a new one and so I, not having one for my apartment, gladly took her old one. Some of the lights do not work so I am just going to tear them all out and start anew. Why choose? Use BOTH! At our house, we love a mix of white and multi. I string the lights on the tree myself, so I bought multicolor strings and changed every fifth bulb (the pinkish ones that I don't care for) to a white bulb. It was a lot of work, but we love the way it looks.

Holy cow, Sea---I'm awfully sorry to hear that you got so banged up.
Whether you have time or not---get that eye injury looked at and get stitches if you need them. No need to feel sorry later that you didn't take the time. Potential infection is nothing to mess around with, especially with your considerations.

Hey gang! Hope this finds y'all doing great! Busy here....ballgames Thursday and baby doctor yesterday left me drained last night. Had to meet with a teacher to get them off on their trip at 6:45 am, open our gym at 7:30 am, and then meet with a couple of other teachers at 8:00 am. Finally going to sit down and take a little nap...I've come to appreciate these times.

Later today, we are going to the store. I'm going to get me a few things to cook this week and some things to cook next weekend....I'm already looking forward to the Superbowl...

Well, I'm going to catch up on some posts and then doze off for a bit....see y'all later tonight.

Taken just before heading east out of town on hwy 7&8.. Not me, I was not heading that way because of course the road is closed! There is a break in the storm right now so we are at the store picking up a few things.
