Anyone have any idea when my Platinum membership will kick in? I subscribed last night but things have not changed over as of yet.

Jeff, the owner of the site, has to do it manually. It's not an automatic thing. So I'm guessing it should be there later tonight. He usually tries to check in at least once a day.

Thanks, Meceka!!! They got off at noon today so they probably just had enough time to make one pass around the complex. I've been out three times since then cleaning off the sidewalk. The ramp down to the street from the building has had at least a foot of snow on it every time.

Hi everyone!

It has been a while. Meceka sent me a message yesterday and I figured I should check-in. I have been a little busy up here, but not terribly. I blame myself and the New Year blahs! I feel as if I am starting to overcome them, however. Today seems like the perfect day to do so... only 11 more months until Christmas!

I hope everyone has started off their 2014 well. I'll drop by again shortly. It's nearly time to eat and I am a little hungry! Have a great Saturday!!

I have thought of starting an online business, where I would buy a bunch of leftover decorations after Christmas and sell them throughout the year. Just to get my foot in the door, and hope to get a little money doing it. We just don't have the money to get started yet.

Well the sidewalk had drifted over so I went out and shoveled it again. Got my dishes done too. So I think it's time to reward myself with some hot chocolate and hostess sno balls.

There's a good book about the show called "The Secret Word is Groucho" by Hector Arce. I don't know if it's still in print, but there are some funny stories in there.

Good evening,

The day was long being back to work. Starting a new schedule this week it will be more rotating to work both days of the weekend, but the payoff will be I am suppose to get an actual weekend off every now and then. I'll believe that when I see it, I was told that when I took the position.

Just watching "Kingpin" before heading to bed, I love this movie, so many quotable lines.

A quick note before I go to bed: I fell at the beauty shop today and blackened my eye and split my eye just under the brow, split my knee, (a really large area) hit and bruised my chin (larger than silver-dollar-size). I think the eye needs stitches, but I don't have time, LOL!!! The good news is that my hair color looks GREAT!

Ouch! Sounds like it hurt. Praying for you feel better soon, friend. No matter what happens, you're always still in good spirits. Thinking of you.

I am so sorry to hear that. I hope you get better. Coincidentally, a few minutes ago I just sliced my finger pretty good when scissors slipped. It throbs awfully right now but it's nothing compared to what I'm sure you're feeling.

Good Merry Saturday Morning! I woke up far to early for a Saturday morning but at least I don't have the school run. I am just going to start breakfast. Quiet night last night. We ended up watching the movie Surrogates.

I love lazy Saturdays. I am baking some cupcakes with my kids today and later we will probably watch Harry Potter , if I get my way .

I will be at work tomorrow so I won't be wishing the hours away today. Have a fun and easy going weekend everyone.
