Hot tub it is! I am having one of Carl's special blends of tea, cranberry, eggnog spice. Sounds strange, but then Carl is a bit strange! It tastes great.

Okay, after 2 sips of Carl's Mai tai I was all-

I'm going to turn in soon, I'm exhausted.
My daughter went to the doctor today for a sore throat. She is in so much pain right now that she is in tears. She started the antibiotic. She's taking Motrin, gargling with warm salt water and sipping on tea. I don't know what else she can do. I feel so bad. She has always been prone to sore throats and strep. She's been to an ENT and they never recommended taking her tonsils out but I think I'm going to bring her back for another opinion.
The temperatures have dropped and we are expecting more snow tonight. I would be very happy if we get enough snow to cancel classes. Then my daughter could sleep in and only worry about going to work later in the day.
Anyway, I hope everyone is well and had a good day.

I am quickly losing steam here, it was long productive day.
Sidney is still sleeping a lot, but he seems to be in better spirits. He is purring when we pet him, he was not doing that this morning. I will keep watch on him more tomorrow.

I've still to cook dinner but I don't want to get out of the pool. Heatwave here with bushfires barely under control

Thank you for all the well wishes. I was worried I was going to wake up with a virus or cold . I still don't feel 100% but I am thankful I am not worse. I'm taking Vitamin C and Zinc and drinking pro biotic drinks so I'm hoping to beat it.

I don't have much on today. I ran an errand before and got rained on. I feel to drained to do alot today to be honest. I wish I could just lay down but of course with children you can't. I've just made my youngest his lunch and I am doing some laundry and tidying before the school run and evening routine.

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's cold & icy around here today, with sleet/ice pellets falling at daylight this morning. The steps up to my office trailer are covered in ice, and it takes great care and skill to ascend those 6 steps, let me tell you.

School is out for the next couple days, so Elizabeth stayed up till almost 3AM, looking for the snow we never got. Bless here heart, she was so excited about the possibility!

Yesterday I felt sick after I got to work, so I went back home and back to bed. Felt better in the evening, just really wiped out. Thought I'd be fine this morning, but woke up with an awful headache and feeling icky, so I called in sick. Got some more sleep, but I'm still headachy and lethargic and have very little appetite. Wish I knew what to do for it---I'm not nauseated or anything, I just … don't feel well. I don't want to be out for a third day tomorrow.
