THE OPERA PART XIXXIX

Act 1/scene 1
Opens to the traditional blank stage- Carl the Camel walks out and offers a mocha pepprmint mint julep egg casserole blend to the audience.... curtain closes after 20 minutes/intermission for mass bathroom rushes.

scene 2: Opens with Crown standing alone atop a mountain- they sing the aria " Oh what a beautiful Polar Bear Votrex"- which wrongly assumes that polar bears hibernate in winter..and more sleep for everyone.. thus, using their wizardly powers, they drop massive cold and snow on the east coast causing a near panic in the bread and beer aisle at Piggly Wiggly. Jayish enters and dances a paus du lux entitled.." Hah,.. you call that winter.. we have that kind of cold in August..." Made, Coach, and Binger enter and sing the aria.." It must Be Sugar's fault.."- the curtain comes down as snow- not to be confused with snowflake.. begins to fall..

end..act 1

Act 2:
Curtain opens to find snowflake facing extreme hostility for causing the extreme weather- Meceka joins Jayish in a paus du lux/ aria combo that mocks Crown's vain attempt at cold... with the piece entitled.." Yummm minus ten- anyone want lemonade..?" the snow continues to fall and then Crown threatens to take Snowflake and zip her into the plastic cylinder.. until xmas365 sings the aria..." It is not her fault.. it is Crown... who has cast the deadly winter.." The crowd does not believe them and jointly sing the aria.." How can Crown do anything so sinister.. all they do is sleep 24/7.." They then zip snowflake into the plastic cylnder, thus causing a further distress aria from Made, Coach, and Binger when it is announced that the CIJ on QVC is thus cancelled.
end Act 2

Act 3 ( finale)

Enters with Snowflake imprisoned in the plastic cylinder.. only Christmasaholic believes that Crown is responsible.. Bradmac appears and sings the aria.." Ozarks: where the weather is sinister and the music is rougher.." and then to prove his rowdiness, sticks his tongue to the plastic cylinder ala "The Christmas Story" while Jayish dances a paus du lux in the background entitled.." Now that's really moving.. unlike the NJ Turnpike at dusk.." Festivespirit Mike24ever and Maureen then weave a giant plaid ( what else) slingshot and sing the aria: "Coffee: It's what made Milwaukee and Binger famous.." and then slingshot a giant vat of Carl's brew into the giant Mounatin where Crown resides ( resembles a hammock). The coffee melts into Crown's lair and in one of the most beautiful moments ever in operatic history they realize they were wrong about the polar bear vortex, thus releasing Snowflake and announcing that the bitter winter is over, and the groundhog is thus zipped into the plastic cylinder for the remainder of the season. The entire company comes together and sings an aria take off of "Disco Duck" which is the closest thing to a musical about a borderline rodent.

end..

Bravo! Encore!

I Just had to read this again this morning LOL ! Well Done, I look forward to the next!

Good morning!
I'm having a cup of coffee and watching the news. We have a winter storm warning in effect. The forecast changed over night and we are now expecting about 8 inches of snow. I got a call from the high school about half an hour ago saying that they will be closed. I wish I would have known earlier, I would have stayed in bed! My oldest also had classes this morning. I don't think her campus closed yet which I don't understand, there is a wet snow falling right now and the roads are slick. The temperatures are going to drop as the day goes on and the snow will be heavy by the time she gets out of her last class, I don't need to worry about about her having an accident or getting stuck somewhere. I told her to stay home.
So I guess there won't be too much going on here today. I'll just be working on some chores around the house and I'll be in and out shoveling snow.
I hope everyone is well and has a great day!
Be safe!

Merry Monday!

Well it was a hectic day yesterday together with a late night and I am still fighting off this cold so I am counting down the hours till I can go back to bed ! Roll on children's bedtime! LOL

Have a wonderful start to the week everyone. First week of February, may this month bring you all good things!

snowday!!!!

The best thing about snow days, for me, is that I don't have to make them up. My contract calls for me to be at work all year, even on Thanksgiving and Christmas breaks. If I want to use those, I have to take vacation...which I do of course. But snow days...nope, those are freebies.

Sitting here with the daughter....well, I'm sitting here while she is laying here. She is just about to drift off for a nap. We sit here and played for a couple of hours and now she is fighting sleep. I wish someone would have told me when I was young that you never win that fight. As a matter of fact, she just lost. Isn't it funny how quickly they can go to sleep?

Made, sorry about the loss last night. Peyton deserved better, but he still is a top 5 quarterback, in my opinion. While he might be a top flight qb, he is a better person than that. He changed football. That's a pretty big statement.
