TGIF, my Christmas friends!

Nancy had been having trouble with dizziness lately, and it was even worse yesterday. Luckily, she had an appt. scheduled for yesterday afternoon with a physical therapist to address the issue. We were both skeptical about a PT being able to help with this, but in about 30 minutes she had Nancy fixed-up! It all seems very fantastical, but it has to do with the misalignment of "crystals" in the inner ear. With a few deft motions, turning Nancy's head from left to right, everything went back to normal. Crazy, but I'll take it. As they say, when mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy!

Lunch with my mom & brother today, then more work, work, work.

It is amazing how quickly time flies. It feels like yesterday we were putting up our Christmas tree.

I'm glad she got relief quickly. I've heard of that maneuver---a therapist can move the head around in a way that clears the dizziness.

LC is sick, he stayed home from school today and will be again tomorrow. He had a fever of 102, poor little guy.

There was a Dollar General here that had Cadbury Eggs out on Christmas eve and as much as I was shocked, I had to buy one because I love those things!!!

So glad that Nancy is better. I had an inner ear infection when I was a senior in college and it was awful. It took me a year until I could lift my arms up over my head (to hang curtains) without getting dizzy! Now she knows what to do if it ever happens again. Had someone suggested PT to help fix the problem?

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's a chilly morning here in central Indy where we currently stand at 5 degree's. That's actually a decent improvement over the -7 we were at a few hours ago. We should get up to the mid teen's this afternoon. I crashed hard last night. All of those days of hardly any sleep finally caught up with me and I got a solid 8 hours of sleep last night. Which for me, is a miracle. Not much going on today. Just have some more laundry to do and then I want to do some things around my bedroom. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

I love that, too, MC. With the Count going on in the background, the days to the Season start up again in November. By the time February gets here, we are already almost 90 days into the Season!

Horrors, I don't have a photo of your afghan in my album! I should fix that.

That is unbelievable! What I think is so sad is that we Christmas lovers do not get down on anyone or any store that has holiday stuff out early. Why can't we be treated the same way?

It is still wet outside, so no house work today. Hubby and I will be going to Chico later to order the trusses and check on the kitchen cabinets. We received four gift cards from Red Lobster, so guess where we are going for dinner! Plus, they have the Lobsterfest going on!

It is another chilly day but it is sunny out, so that's good.
Typical day here of errands and chores. I already went to butcher and CVS this morning. I'm going to head back out for a few more things after lunch.
My youngest daughter is leaving for Florida a week from tomorrow. She was invited to go with one of her friends, the family has another home down there in Tampa. They will be there for a week, during their Winter recess. It was kind of a last minute thing, we just purchased her plane ticket. This is the same family that took her on a cruise last year. They are so good to her. She wants to go swimsuit shopping over the weekend. I hope we can find some stores that have them out already. It's hard to think about swimsuit shopping with these frigid temperatures that we're having!
