Good evening,

Nice short day at work, but it was busy. Unfortunately I have to work again tomorrow.
Watched the final Bruins game before the Olympic break, they won 7-2.

I hope you all are enjoying your Saturday.

Enjoy the rest of your night, Xmas!!!!!

Hi everyone. I made it thru the surgery just fine. I just want to say thatnk you all very much for all the well wishes, thoughts and prayers that was posted here; your all a really swelll bunch of friends~

I'm a little sore right now and just kind of taking it easy for the next couple of days here at home. Hopefully, I will be 100% in just no time at all....they said the total (full) healing time is about 12 weeks. For the guys here, (not to be gross here) but the biggest thing that I can really, really, really say, that I did not like was the catheter and the act of me pulling that thing out myself...:o No sir, don't ever want to do that again, that was really freaky feeling that I did not like...

Other than that, I'm forced to keep wearing my pjs for several days, don't have to shave, I get to eat ice cream, watch TV, while sitting in the lazyboy next to the fireplace...I could kind of get used to this....LOL

I hope everyone else is doing fine and wish you all well. Thanks again...
Believe me, us women do not like them any more than you do!
So glad you came through it all ok and are recovering well.
Enjoy a good relaxing time while you are at it!

Shopping done, working on some stuff around the house.
It is chilly here again today...no make that down right cold! It was -26c (-14f) this morning and has warmed up all the way to -17c (1f) !
Have some work to do for a couple of cakes. Also have to bake cupcakes to do with the kids at children's church tomorrow morning. Going to decorate them for valentines day.
Also going to hang out here in between and maybe watch a movie.

Enjoy your evening, Star!

That sure sounds good!
I've been busy with various things this morning, but hoping to relax some this afternoon. We were going to go out for a bite of lunch, but Mr.'s office sent him work to do at home (grrrrr! it's a weekend! leave him alone!) so we ordered a pizza for delivery instead.

I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend!

Hope you guys can enjoy some downtime this evening!

Well the maintenance man was here for 3 hours this morning and couldn't get the sink unclogged. His small snake wasn't long enough and his big snake was to big to go around the bends in the pipe. So he is going to have to come back monday when Jose and Jose are here and go down through the vent in the roof. For some reason, he didn't trust me to run the bobcat to lift him and the snake up to the roof. LOL!!!! Plus it's going have to be raked off and some salt thrown down before he goes up on it. So I'm stuck eating out all weekend. Darn!!! Oh well, I got my shopping done, so now I'm off to my sister's house to swap out the light switches and do my aunt's taxes. Talk to you all later!!!!

Boo! Nice of you to help with your aunt's taxes. Hoping they can get it fixed next time they come.

It seems there are a lot of comments online of people hating the U.S.A. sweaters with a few who like them. I love them!!! Like I said, reminds me of the "ugly" Christmas sweaters. Those are fun to me!

I just found out they were hand sewn! (Maybe you all already knew that but I didn't!)

I like them, look like they were made by someones loving grandma!
These are the Canadian outfits.

We have been on the run all day long and now home watching the Olympics. There was snow, freezing temps and cloudy for the past couple of days. Now the sun is out and 50 degrees. Boo!!! I hope we get more snow this week! We might but not guaranteed. I know those up north are sick of it but I am not sick of it yet here! =)

I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend!

Hope you enjoy your weekend as well, CAH!

If I am not mistaken, I think these pictures were text to her which would not count as social media? I need Homemakingirl to confirm that because now I am curious! cheesy I didn't realize that social media was banned!

Yes, they were forwarded to me from my daughters cell phone.

Good evening!
I ended up having a super busy day. I took my daughter shopping for her trip next week and it turned in to a day of prom dress shopping. I'm not sure how that happened. By the time we got home I was so behind on my chores and I still had to go food shopping. So I've been on the run all day. I read through the posts quick but I have a ton of laundry that I have to get started on. Oh and my daughter did not find a prom dress today but she did pick up a couple of swimsuits for Florida. I'm off to finish my chores. Be back later!

Did you see when the snowflake lights turned into the rings, well one of them didn't. Whoever was controlling them, I bet really got yelled at or whatever wrong, I am still someone got yelled at!
seems some glitch always happens at an opening ceremony. Ours was when the third pillar for lighting the flame would not rise up out of the floor. LOL, loved what they did to make amends at the closing ceremony.
But hey, stuff happens, but you are right, there someones head will roll over that.

Good evening,

A long and busy day at work today, and I have to be in tomorrow for 6am. I get out at 1pm. I had to change my schedule to that since they didn't schedule anyone to work the opening duties.

I watched as much of the opening ceremony as I could handle, my wife fell asleep and I got the control back. There is still nothing on, though.

LC is still sick, he was a little better when he went to bed, but now we are worried about JP since he put himself to bed at 6pm. He has a birthday party to attend tomorrow and we don't want him to miss it since the party is to see The Lego Movie.

I am heading to bed, 4:45 will be here way too soon.

Good night, Christmas critters. cheesy
hope everyone at your house is feeling better soon!

Snow moved in around 6:00 tonight....we are 4 inches in....

Not a lot to some of you, but it is to us. Tomorrow, we were supposed to go to dinner and a movie....now looks like we might stay home.

Y'all have a good one! See you later.
snow, snow, snow, snow.....so much of the stuff we are running out of room for it, so decided to send it elsewhere, hope you enjoy it!

Thank you! He's still busy working, but he thinks the end may be in sight. I hope this means he won't have to work tomorrow. Myself, I have to go in half an hour early on Monday. It seems to be the busy season!

Ahh! I hope he gets finished soon so you both can enjoy the rest of your weekend!
