The PO has a deal where you can ship a certain size box for one price, no matter the weight. I wanted to send magazines to my daughter and the box that would fit them was like $8.00. If I used the same size box and sent only feathers (LOL), it would still cost $8.00. I am not sure what the largest size box is, though.

I looked at the flat-rate box sizes. I forget what size the largest was, but it wasn't big enough to stuff an afghan into without damage.

We tend to use flat-rate boxes for sending Christmas gifts. Depending on what you're sending, it can be a bargain!

Hi friends. I'm just checking in to say hi.

I broke my laptop today and I am not happy. My writings, music (including Christmas) and some other stuff is gone now. Needless to say I'm a bit disappointed.

I hope you all are having a good weekend.

Back from church. Children's church went well, set up for 12 got 5 so I have left over cupcakes, anyone want them? The kids enjoyed it and it was fun doing it with them.
Not much going on this afternoon other than taking my daughter to work for 3pm.
Watching Olympics, the mens ski jump is on right now. Would never get me to try that!
It is snowing, again.

Glad church went well and I'll take one of those cupcakes!!!!

Hi guys!!! Lazy Sunday here... making some pizza dough, been playing Legos all day with the kids. We saw the Lego movie yesterday and I highly recommend it, even to adults! A really sweet movie! :)

Have a great day, guys!

Hey Judesmama!!! Hope you are enjoying your lazy day!!! My sister, niece, and nephew in seattle are at the theater right now watching the lego movie!!

Palmer wants to play so I am going to spend some quality time with her. Talk to you tomorrow evening ~ merry dreams!

Hope you enjoy the rest of your evening, Meceka!!!!!

Boo!!! I hope you can find a way to recover it all from the hard drive!!!!

Okay, the Lear is ready for anyone who wants to go! Good thinking to do it after he fixes the sink, LOL!

Okay, all of you who said you would help me beat up the maintenance man. I'm going have to call him in the morning to come unclog my kitchen sink. So if you can all get here about 9am, we will jump him after he is done. LOL!!!!

I'm sorry to hear that, Ryan. How frustrating :(

Hope that they can be recovered somehow. Praying!

I'm in!!

Yes indeed!!! And a cookie or two every now and then, won't hurt either...

I agree!!

I agree 100%, Xmas!!! Why is that? Christmas lovers really get all the crappy attitudes, but not Valentines, Easter, or summer people. Maybe that because Christmas people are more tolerant! It is early for that, but I don't mind, really. Why can't we Christmas people get the same respect?

That is so nice of them to invite your youngest on the trips.
If you find a swimsuit, be sure to complain that it is waaaaay to soon to be selling swimsuits. Let us enjoy the winter without throwing summer in our faces. cheesy

I hear ya, CAH. But if someone were to say to them the kinds of remarks we hear about Christmas, they would be aghast, like, how dare you?!!! Why can't they be as tolerant as we are?

They do at Hobby Lobby! Actually they start putting Christmas stuff out in late June! =) You should see the complaints they get about it too. Pathetic!

You put it so much more eloquently than I did, MC. You are absolutely correct about doing away with that double standard!

We were at the supermarket this evening. The center (seasonal) aisle of the store was full of Valentine's Day chocolates and gifts, plus some Easter chocolate. Between the pharmacy and the bakery were shelves full of Easter candy. I agree---when Christmas items hit the shelves more than two months before Christmas, everybody hollers, but there's no media fuss about Easter candy being sold more than two months before Easter! Time to do away with that double standard! If Valentine's and Easter items can be sold side by side with no complaint, so should Halloween and Christmas items!

Yes, CAH. I honestly don't mind things coming out early, but I feel we should all be tolerant, no matter the season.

Also for those who go to indoor swimming pools like the one we have at our gym. My mom loves to go swimming there all winter long!

I think our complaint is - to those who want to complain about our Christmas decorations out early gives us the right to complain about their summer stuff coming out in the winter!!! When in reality, we don't really mind but leave us Christmas lunatics alone!!! :wiggy:

Here's hoping JP is able to go to the movie. Bless his little heart!

Good evening,

A long and busy day at work today, and I have to be in tomorrow for 6am. I get out at 1pm. I had to change my schedule to that since they didn't schedule anyone to work the opening duties.

I watched as much of the opening ceremony as I could handle, my wife fell asleep and I got the control back. There is still nothing on, though.

LC is still sick, he was a little better when he went to bed, but now we are worried about JP since he put himself to bed at 6pm. He has a birthday party to attend tomorrow and we don't want him to miss it since the party is to see The Lego Movie.

I am heading to bed, 4:45 will be here way too soon.

Good night, Christmas critters. cheesy

Don't despair yet … some repair shops can recover data from hard drives. May not be 100% recovery, but all may not be lost. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
