Thanks Buddy!!! We've had about another 1/2 inch and they say we could see up to one more inch before it's all said and done. So we may come up just short of the mark. We are supposed to get more tomorrow night though. So we should break it.

If there is one thing that can cheer me up after an hour outside shoveling snow, It's the fact that Nascar is back and Practice is starting!!!

Oh dear. I'm glad Mister made it home safely. I have been thinking about all of you having to drive in those conditions. How are you doing? Are you still having heatwave? Hope you are coping through. Seems like we are having the extreme opposite weather to each other!!!

Weather is cooling slowly. We're averaging 35-40°C. I have air conditioning, a pool and a bath but feel bad for those who don't. It rained all night and sounds lovely this morning. I think I've lost 4 plants to the searing sunshine but hoping there is still a bit of life hidden in them so I'm not pulling them out yet.

Nancy and I don't really celebrate V-Day, but we do things for the kids, and we're having dinner with her sister & BIL tonight. We got the kids some candy and a copy of Despicable Me 2. I'm looking forward to seeing that one. :wink:

I've been waiting impatiently for a few weeks to find out if I get the promotion I've been discussing with my boss. I know he wishes I'd quit hanging out around his office door...LOL. I might even get a Valentine's Day kiss if I came home with a raise! Maybe one day he'll tell me.

I talked to my great aunt in Holidaysburg last night and they had a foot and were supposed to get more overnight.



LOL!!!!! I hope it's just the system we are getting today!!! If so, it's only going to be a couple of inches.

Thanks, Buddy!!! Dale Jr was fastest during the first practice so I'm a happy camper right now!!! Hopefully it's the same during the second session that is going to start here soon.

For those of you who are in line to get more storms in your area ~ be safe!

The major headache I woke up with is finally gone, but it has left me wiped out. Not planning on doing much more than read or watch a movie later. I listened to several hours of the 50th Anniversary of the British Invasion programming today while I worked ~ interesting stuff and some very good music, too!
