Christmas Countdown - 2014

We woke up to a balmy -13*f, if that won't get you moving quickly, nothing will. It is already up to 9*f now, so it is "warming" up quickly.

I didn't sleep too well last night between this cold and the trouble we are having with our older car. I kept having dreams about that darn car all night long, this winter has really been hard on it. It just doesn't want to start anymore, and I have a fear one of us will be stranded somewhere because of that. We have started looking to replace it with something a little bigger, the boys can barely fit in the backseat anymore, especially JP, he is now over 5 feet tall and he squishes himself in the backseat.

I am relaxing before work, watching the My Crazy Obsession Christmas part 2, I just watch the show and shake my head. cheesy I am obsessed about Christmas, but not that obsessed.

I will pop in before I leave.

Hope you're feeling better and praying for your car situation.

After dwelling on that, let's ponder this:
Milestone number 3 is on the way.
It's less than 2 weeks off now.
On that date, February 28th, the 300-Day Window to Christmas Day 2014 will open wide, revealing a DOUBLE-200'S landscape!
(Can BOTH of our counts really be down to the 200's that soon??)

Nice (low 60's) warmth yesterday alleviated most of our icy roads driving problem. But this morning we have a cold rain falling.
(As I said before, I am SO ready for spring!)
We are at 37 degrees here, currently.

Good news: I changed the cord on my phone line and haven't had any problems since so hopefully that was what was causing my disconnects. Yesterday I went down the basement stairs and back up them normally and there hasn't been any pain ~ my knee has finally healed! So glad for that as now I can get back to my favorite workout routines which I have not been able to do for months.

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a chilly day here with a high in the low 20's. Another round of snow is also going to move through later this afternoon. I had planned on running out to another small town to a farm store to do some shopping today but it sounds like the roads still aren't good out that way. So I think I will scrap that. I do need to run to the grocery store though. Of course, first things first, I have to go shovel snow. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!
