Good evening, everyone. Just sitting down here to read some posts. We ended up getting some snow back home here today 4-5 inches or so and it was snowing on the way home, so we just headed home, so we get home to do some things. There wasn't a lot of shopping places anyway.

I'm not sure how late I'll late make it tonight. I've been feeling pretty crappy the past couple of days, but feel slightly better today, but am just so tired today now. DH now feels like he is getting sick. It's just a never ending circle!

Hope you all enjoy your evening!

Glad you made it home safely!!!

Praying that both of you feel better in the morning.

Enjoy your evening, Friend!!!

Well it's Saturday evening! That means movie night! As the winter drags on I think it's about time to pack up the Holiday movies....I am different than a lot of you in that I never watch Christmas movies from april to October. That is just me, don't know why though:) Maybe in July when Hallmark runs their Christmas in July weekend I will watch that so I need to sneak in as many Christmas movies as I can until I leave in 3 weeks. Tonight we are going to watch Christmas Vacation. It has been a while since I have seen it. I love that movie!! So we are going to get the decaff coffee brewin and last week we stocked up on the pumpkin pie dairy creamer as they were having a clearance on all Christmas and holiday coffee creamers! I think we even have a candy bar flavored one!!!
Anyways have a wonderful evening everyone! I will try to get back on here in the morning before I hit the slopes!

Enjoy your movie night, Dawg!!!

Snowflake- Hope you enjoy your dinner!!! Praying that work is better for you tomorrow.

Date night (it was actually mid-afternoon) was great. We ate a steak, watched a movie, and just relaxed. It's been quite sometime since we sit down and just took a deep breath and enjoyed each other's company.

Now, it's time for a little racing!

VROOM VROOM!!!!!

I envy all your different flavours. We only have the basic ones and lucky to get even mint or caramel. Enjoy a cuppa for me Dawg.

Thanks, buddy!! She still has a horrible cough. Of course her mother doesn't make her take the cough syrup so.......

The poor thing I remember when my son suffered croup he was so tired from always coughing. I was reluctant to give too much meds and during the day he played which took his mind off it but at night he needed rest more than me so I would get up and give it regularly.

I've been dreaming of eating all night so I've woken this morning with a horrible, horrible feeling in my tummy. This happens to me a lot. Even in my sleep I don't stop thinking about food. And it's worse when I'm trying to be good. It's my subconscious kicking in.
I keep dreaming of living in a big house and then getting lost in it.

Hello Christmas buddies! I have missed hanging out here lately. Everyone on the East coast and Midwest are having bad snows this weekend I guess. Be careful everyone! We have had an awesome winter btw here too! I took a ruler this morning out to the backyard and there is about 6 inches of snow there...the drifts are higher of course. RIght bow we are sitting at 23F. I am going skiing this weekend just have not decided which day. Next year I am going to start Jordan out on a pair of skis. He will be 3 then and that is a goode age to begin learning.

I am leaving to go over seas in about 3 weeks so the clock is ticking! I will miss everyone here but I will try to keep in touch as much as possible. I will be home in Sept so I know the time will fly by! I am going to ski as much as possible until I leave though..I have been reading the ski resorts out east are having a good season, even the ones in Western North Carolina are reporting base depth as much as 110 inches of snow...of course most of that is manufactured snow but still...for the south that is good. Beech MTn and Sugar mtn north Carolina have reported 75 inches of (real) snow so far this year that is good for north Carolina as well. Anyhow I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend. I hope everyone stays safe in all the blizzards too! talk to yall soon!
time is going so fast, praying all goes well with you and your family.
Enjoy the snow !

Wishing everybody a happy and relaxing weekend! Some of us are lucky enough to have a three-day weekend due to the Presidents Day holiday.

It's snowing again … supposed to get 5 to 9 inches this time, unless the storm track changes. So happy to be back indoors after our errands. It isn't snowing very hard yet, but a little later it's supposed to be going at the rate of 1 to 3 inches per hour. Sounds like a good time for hot cocoa, cookies, popcorn, and movies. There's talk of light snow on Tuesday.

I'm ready for spring. Maybe it's on the way---I actually saw a robin in the snow yesterday! Looked pretty fat and healthy to me. He must know where there's a well-stocked bird feeder.
I love 3 day weekends, ours is because of family day on Monday.

Had a bit of snow this afternoon, just enough to blow off the van. Bring on spring!!!

Thank you, Dawg! It's snowing here now, and I'm kicking back with an episode of Downtown Abbey (2nd season---no spoilers, please!) and a cup of tea while Mr. is busy with other pursuits. The next episode is a Christmas one, so I think I'll watch that one too while it's snowing, while I crochet a few rows on a thick afghan.

I think the Red Sox are in spring training by now. (Living where we do, you'd think I'd know for sure!) We'll have to keep an eye on NESN for when they start broadcasting pre-season games. Yep, we look forward to baseball season, too! Mr. always knows the latest news about the Sox. You never know what the new season will bring. Last year at this time we never dreamed they'd win the World Series!
I am watching Psych, love this show.
As for baseball, the Toronto Blue Jays will win the pennant this year!!
