Well it's Saturday evening! That means movie night! As the winter drags on I think it's about time to pack up the Holiday movies....I am different than a lot of you in that I never watch Christmas movies from april to October. That is just me, don't know why though:) Maybe in July when Hallmark runs their Christmas in July weekend I will watch that so I need to sneak in as many Christmas movies as I can until I leave in 3 weeks. Tonight we are going to watch Christmas Vacation. It has been a while since I have seen it. I love that movie!! So we are going to get the decaff coffee brewin and last week we stocked up on the pumpkin pie dairy creamer as they were having a clearance on all Christmas and holiday coffee creamers! I think we even have a candy bar flavored one!!!
Anyways have a wonderful evening everyone! I will try to get back on here in the morning before I hit the slopes!

I am the same way . I don't watch Christmas movies or listen to Christmas music during the year. I like the thrill of waiting. Hope you had a fun and safe time on the slopes!

We are doing ok , thanks Sugar. We are lucky to be living away from coastlines and rivers so we are not affected by floods. However the continuous rain and on going storms has been overbearing at times. Sounds like you need a lot of rest and sleep so you can recharge. I hope things start slowing down so you can recover completely. I'll be thinking of you......and I am always around if you need a good old vent :)

I know what you mean. It's not that I wish winter away but I look forward to the journey back to Christmas and of course that means saying goodbye to winter.

Just spoke with my daughter, her first day in Florida was great. They spent the day relaxing and hanging out by the pool. Tomorrow they will be heading to Busch Gardens. I'm glad she's having a good time.
I'm really tired so I'm going to turn in, I'll see you in the morning!

I am so glad to hear your daughter arrived safely and is having a good time. You must worry constantly when they are away. Something I will have to experience at some point when the boys are older I guess. Praying that she continues to be safe and arrives back home safely.

Thanks, Festive. I was able to rest some yesterday. Hopefully I will be able to get some today too, when getting home from work. I will continue to think of you and everyone affected by the storms. Have a good day.
 
Merry Monday! Weekends go by so fast, hope you all had a good one.

Long day yesterday at work. This morning I woke up feeling better that I have been. I am not a good sleeper usually but last night I managed a few consecutive hours and boy does it make a difference.

Last week they announced that there will be redundancies at my husbands work by 2015. Still early days but it's on my mind and we won't know anything definite for another few months ugh! I hate not knowing what is going to happen especially in these circumstances.

My eldest is off school this week on mid term break. It will be nice not to do the school run in this weather :) Ok well I better go entertain the children and catch up with house chores.

Have a pleasant day everyone. I'll see you all later.
