I forgot to mention Buster - he is ok with her. He doesn't love her, but he's tolerant. She loves him! She bites at his face & he snarls at her! But she is usually pretty gentle with him - so far. Could be interesting yet!

Good Monday morning!!! I hope everyone had a great weekend. I haven't had a chance to catch up yet, but I plan to read through what I can!! I wanted to share some pictures of our Gracie - she's a gem! :-}

She has been very good! She was only up once through the night Saturday but last night she did some whining after I had her out at 3:30 in the morning! Hopefully this week we can get a little more into a schedule. She had a bunch of company Saturday & yesterday she went to her 1st party where her feet never hit the ground! She was exhausted! We got home from that party & our neighbors came over with their golden doodle pup - they had a blast together! She is going to be soooo bored today!! Ha ha! Our neighbors were chuckling at my husband - they told me Jim is "smitten" with her! Lol! He is! So am I...

She is adorable!!!!!!! Glad her Buster are getting along okay!!!!!

Happy jumped up on the kitchen table again today in pursuit of the kids' leftover breakfast! Poor guy never gets to eat apparently. He's very mistreated!

:lol: It appears Wheatens like to spend time at (or on) the kitchen table! Our friends in PA & also our friends from the lake talk about/send pictures of their Wheatens at the table quite a bit. They think they're human! Crazy animals!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!!! It's going to be a chilly day here with a high in low 30's and mostly sunny. Not a whole lot going on here. I was up late watching all of the coverage of Dale Jr's win last night. Then I was up at 6am to take my neighbor over to the airport to pick up his granddaughter. Right as I was putting on my coat to walk out the door though, he called and told me her flight been canceled. So I went back to bed for awhile. Now I just have a few things around the house while I'm waiting to hear when Amber is going to get in. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!

How much does Happy weigh?

Happy is a bit heavier than most Wheatens...he is about forty pounds. He hasn't missed any meals since he's joined our family!

Not much to say lately. Very little energy or enthusiasm for the past few days. It'll pass in its own good time, I guess.

Now I don't feel so bad! The vet always tells us he could lose a few...but Happy seems to think he should put on a few more pounds.

Had a great time today, 190 ladies singing, praying, laughing and getting to know each other better.
Wonderful lunch of squash soup, salad and chicken wraps with petite fours for dessert.
There was a great speaker talking on the seasons of life, a piano concert and a very funny skit. Lots of door prizes, none of which I won, but that is ok, it was fun watching the excitement of those who did win.
I attened a workshop on fiances and there was also workshops on health, cake decorating and electronic scrap booking.
Also had an opportunity to try some different kinds of tea from a local tea shop.
There was a book store there with lots of good stuff available for us to purchase if we wanted to.
We finished the day with singing this song as we lit candles while standing in a circle around the sanctuary.
