Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good morning!
I am so far behind schedule. I need to get out of here and run a few errands. I'm just having a quick coffee break. I went downstairs earlier to start some laundry and there was water pouring out of the wall. I called my husband and he told me how to shut the water off and came racing home to figure out what was going on. It has something to do with the radiant heat. I hope it's an easy fix, I can feel the house cooling off already. I'm so happy he wasn't on a job in the city today.
Not too much else going on for me. The girls all have off from work today so we will probably all do something together this afternoon.

Again today leaving soon to take mom to an out of town appointment and dropping off rest of family who want to do some shopping.

I have the day off today, and then have a long stretch of work. So, I'm going to really enjoy today.

It is very cold week forecasted here, again. Below zero overnights, and highs around zero. Crazy. We have 20 inches on the ground, and have well over 60 inches total so far this year. Our normal average for the entire year is 47 inches, they just said this all on the news. Why do I watch the news?! Haha...

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be another cold day here but not as cold as Snowflake. At least not yet. We should top out around 23 today. Then fall below zero tonight. Not much going on here. I just need to clean, clean, clean. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

Boy, the steroids really helped Lulu! She's bouncing around like her old self. The doc said to try to keep her from doing to many strenuous things for a while, but she's bursting with energy today.

I just found out that we have customers visiting the plant today, so I have to put on my "professional" face for a while.

Good morning MMC! Happy Tuesday! It appears it's going to be a looooong day at work today! Not much going on! Great....

Gracie had her 1st vet apt yesterday. I love the new vet. She was so thorough & helpful & she couldn't stop lovin on Gracie. BUT she thinks Gracie might have a heart murmur. She said not to worry about it at all - I should forget she even mentioned it - because she thinks it's a "functional" murmur & she will outgrow it, but she's going to keep an eye on it. I sure hope she outgrows it!! I'm really not worried yet, until she tells me I should be - which hopefully that doesn't happen!

quickly popping in before heading to the "funhouse."

I am all thrown off since i usually have Tuesdays off, but I have tomorrow off now. I will be off by a day the rest of the week.

I am trying to watch this movie "Christmas Every Day," but it is pretty bad and I am very close to shutting it off and erasing it from the DVR. I like Pete's Christmas better, both movies have the same premise.

I have to go make my dinner and leave for work in a few minutes.

Good evening, MMC! I hope you're all doing well! I realized that I had 70 pages to catch up on since I've been here last - yikes! I just couldn't read that much in one sitting, so I've gone back to catch up on what I missed today. Thanks for all of your thoughts and prayers! I have been looking for jobs every single day and applying for the ones I like. What irks me is the way that many companies go about their application process. I spend 30-45 minutes completing detailed applications to only receive a generic auto-response from them telling me that they've received my application and then I never hear from them after that! I guess it's too hard for them to take the time to actually contact someone and let them know a decision!

I think that I am going to have some more free time on my hands so except to see more of me around here!!

Wifey and I just counted....I have been home a total of 7 nights during M-F for the past 5 weeks. Between ballgames, meetings, etc....I've been swamped. Things are going to slow down this week, I don't have to worry about ballgames until Thursday...so I'm looking forward to that.

Kids at school were all as excited as I was....they know who my favorite driver is and had the best time making fun of me because this is only his 2nd win in forever...makes me happy when they give me a hard time in a joking manner...means they care.

I can't believe we are only a few days away from March! That is pretty awesome! Jan/Feb are my least favourite months so I will be happy to welcome March as well as Spring!

Merry Tuesday, Festive! I can't believe how fast February has been going ~ usually this is the month that really drags for me.
