Yep.
The figures don't lie and and the liars don't figures.

But no liars here. Feb 28 indeed brings us to the 300-day Christmas Day Window and the start of our double-200's count.

Chillier yesterday with colder weather yet to come. Maybe even some snow flurries!
Today has begun at 38 degrees here in the capital city.


Have a Wonderful Wednesday and a Vivacious Visit to the 'Pines this evening.

Hard to believe it's the last open house for February.

Oh well, it will come soon, I hope. I will go to the pines to night and see what Carl is up to and relax in the hot tub to get warm.

We have a little bit of snow heading our way, it should be starting soon. Nothing big, just an inch or two.
I don't have much going on today. I would like to take a break from prom dress shopping. My daughter needs to look for a new job, the store she is in now will be closing soon. So hopefully I could talk her in to going job hunting instead!
Maggie's cough has been flaring up again the past couple of days. I'm going to do some research and see if there are any veterinarian specialists on the island that I would be able to bring her to.

Good evening,

Inventory went very smoothly, except for the fact I was absolutely frozen to my bones. It is hard to just count in the freezer, your fingers hurt when you write.

I just got word that our Saturn has been recalled for the issue I have been complaining about for a while now, the ignition switch. They can fix it when we trade it in now.

Day off tomorrow, I am looking forward to getting my haircut, I look like a Chia pet once again.

Good Tuesday night everyone! I hope everyone is hanging in there this last few days of Feb! March has typically been my least favorite month behind jan of course. The weather does not know what to do, warm one day cold the next wet the next everything is such a mixed bag in March! Oh well I am sure it will be april and may before we know it! Those are such great spring months! I am longing for the holidays. This is the first year I can remember having the PCB's so long into the new year!
BTW I saw on Hallmark channel they are starting Christmas countdown on Nov 1st! I guess I like it, Although I love the month of Nov and Thanksgiving, it seems that lately thanksgiving is just a holiday right in the middle of the season!! It use to be the kickoff of the holidays I guess that will be Halloween now which is still fine by me!!! Good night everyone I will try catch up now with how everyone is doing!

At this rate, I think March is just going to be winter here in the midwest. Hopefully it will warm up before April gets here!!!

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's cold here this morning where we currently stand at 3 degree's with a windchill of -9. Brr!!! They are talking about another major storm this weekend too. Right now they think it's going to be a major snow storm here but the track may shift north and we could see a lot of ice. Yuck!!! I want to run away!!! My neighbor's granddaughter finally got rebooked on a plane coming in this afternoon, so I will be at the airport too. I'm thinking that I can just hop on a plane headed south while I'm there. Hmm, decisions. I guess I better go get my chores done before I head that way just in case. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

 

[Holiday]

Thanks everyone. It's fixed. It had something to do with a part that had cracked for some reason. My husband kind of lost me after that. Anyway, the house is warming up and the basement should dry up and be alright. It's a good thing I went down there when I did.

Glad to hear it's fixed!!! Its too cold outside to not have good heat inside!!!!

I was thinking the same thing about a road trip. I will bring what I have in the crockpot: Italian soup. I wanted to use up some leftovers and make a soup with the large macaroni pasta and Italian diced tomatoes (from the can). It tastes so good, but I am not sure how it will settle on my tummy. My "problem" came back with a vengeance. What is so weird is that my tummy is not upset at all, but I still have to have a clear path to the "facilities" again.

Oh no! Hope your problem is better today!!!

The snow is so pretty right now ~ pieces of cotton candy slowly drifting down! I am really loving this day as I know that in a matter of weeks the snow cover will be melted. After I do my chores tonight I am going to watch a Christmas movie. Since I've been watching musicals/dance movies, I think "White Christmas" would be perfect.

Sounds really nice!!!! Cozy!! Hope you were able to watch it!

It is in the 70s here so I would have to turn on the AC to feel cold and in the mood for White Christmas! Hubby and Kane are working up a storm on the kitchen. They will probably start framing tomorrow! Yeah!

Awesome!!! I hope it all goes smooth!!! Exciting!!!

Hubby said it will be ready in six months. I am so excited and can hardly wait for the framing to be done and the roof and ceiling to be in place. (We are going with a 10-foot ceiling.) They have just a little more work to complete on the subfloor. The inspector has been pretty cool and has signed off on the construction so far. He will be back to inspect the electrical after the framing and before the drywall. We are both getting excited. Did I tell y'all that we are having a spaghetti sauce cook-off when the kitchen is complete instead of a house-warming?

I LOVE the idea of a spaghetti sauce cook-off when the kitchen is complete!!! We should come up with something like that! How fun! Yours will be done & we will just be getting started!!! (well - we will probably start in June) GOOD LUCK!

The customer finally left. Now I can pull out my shirt tail and exhale. Phewww!

Good morning MMC! Happy Hump Day & Happy Pines Day! The main boss is gone this morning so it really is a happy day!!! It is bitter cold again this morning, but the sun is shining bright as can be! It looks deceiving from the inside looking out! After work I think I'm going to run to the grocery store, looking for jumbo pasta shells. The store I went too last night didn't have them & I bought everything else to try a new recipe - Mexican Stuffed Shells. I'm planning to bring Gracie along & drop her off at my sisters while I go shop. The vet says that's the best thing you can do to socialize a puppy & make them trust other people. She hasn't seen her yet & was planning to come over tonight anyway, so this might work great! Anyway - I hope you are all having a great morning so far! Enjoy your day!!
