Wifey and I just counted....I have been home a total of 7 nights during M-F for the past 5 weeks. Between ballgames, meetings, etc....I've been swamped. Things are going to slow down this week, I don't have to worry about ballgames until Thursday...so I'm looking forward to that.

Kids at school were all as excited as I was....they know who my favorite driver is and had the best time making fun of me because this is only his 2nd win in forever...makes me happy when they give me a hard time in a joking manner...means they care.

Wow, I have been so busy lately I barely get time to say hello and good night here, never mind keeping up with the news.
Again today leaving soon to take mom to an out of town appointment and dropping off rest of family who want to do some shopping.

I have the day off today, and then have a long stretch of work. So, I'm going to really enjoy today.

It is very cold week forecasted here, again. Below zero overnights, and highs around zero. Crazy. We have 20 inches on the ground, and have well over 60 inches total so far this year. Our normal average for the entire year is 47 inches, they just said this all on the news. Why do I watch the news?! Haha...

Boy, the steroids really helped Lulu! She's bouncing around like her old self. The doc said to try to keep her from doing to many strenuous things for a while, but she's bursting with energy today.

I just found out that we have customers visiting the plant today, so I have to put on my "professional" face for a while.

Good morning MMC! Happy Tuesday! It appears it's going to be a looooong day at work today! Not much going on! Great....

Gracie had her 1st vet apt yesterday. I love the new vet. She was so thorough & helpful & she couldn't stop lovin on Gracie. :lol: BUT she thinks Gracie might have a heart murmur. She said not to worry about it at all - I should forget she even mentioned it - because she thinks it's a "functional" murmur & she will outgrow it, but she's going to keep an eye on it. I sure hope she outgrows it!! I'm really not worried yet, until she tells me I should be - which hopefully that doesn't happen!

And here she is last night, after she drug the rag I used to wipe up a water spill over to the table & then proceeded to pass out on it!



I wonder how many pictures I have taken of her already.... Ha ha!

Good morning,

quickly popping in before heading to the "funhouse."

I am all thrown off since i usually have Tuesdays off, but I have tomorrow off now. I will be off by a day the rest of the week. cheesy

I am trying to watch this movie "Christmas Every Day," but it is pretty bad and I am very close to shutting it off and erasing it from the DVR. I like Pete's Christmas better, both movies have the same premise.

I have to go make my dinner and leave for work in a few minutes.

Good morning!
I am so far behind schedule. I need to get out of here and run a few errands. I'm just having a quick coffee break. I went downstairs earlier to start some laundry and there was water pouring out of the wall. I called my husband and he told me how to shut the water off and came racing home to figure out what was going on. It has something to do with the radiant heat. I hope it's an easy fix, I can feel the house cooling off already. I'm so happy he wasn't on a job in the city today.
Not too much else going on for me. The girls all have off from work today so we will probably all do something together this afternoon.

I finally got my haircut today, I have been de-chia-fied. Woooohooo!!!
I also got my watch battery replaced, I will never go to a jewelry store to replace it again. They charged me $20 to do it!!!! I questioned them about it and she said "Yes, it's for the battery." My jaw hit the floor.

I am psyched that the Bruins season resumes tonight, it felt like forever since they have played. They were off for the Olympic break, so let's go B's!!!

Just taking care of stuff around the house, laundry, kitchen, and so on.

All good over here.....Kandice is excelling in school.....wrote two dictations in German with zero mistakes and will write a mathtest tomorrow....mulitplying and deviding...I believe that is how it is called in english....not sure tho......She is a hard worker, a great reader and usually doesn´t give problems when it comes to do her homework or to learn for a test......I´m so proud of my babygirl

Good afternoon friends! I am on a new computer at work and the keyboard is way too small. So if I make more errors than normal that's why..Although I do have auto correct!lol. Anyways I am trying to decide what to eat tonight for dinner and I think I want tilapia filleys in grits. I love my grits! Anywhere above North Carolina I found people don't really eat them like us deep south ppl do. I like them with butter and salt and pepper and I add the fish fillet do them. I know that is not common at all but I like it! Other than that it's a slow day and I just can't wait for the weekend! it will be my last one at home until Sept so I really want to just around the house and spend time with my family while I can! I was thinking that the boys will have grown a lot in the 6 months I am gone but I have so much to look forward too this next holiday season 2014 I will be 40 and that does NOT make me happy at all but so I plan to just gloss over that the best I can to offset the anxiety of turning 40 I just want this next holiday to be the greatest. and I know it will be! Anyways everyone enjoy the rest of your work day! it's almost over in a few hours!

Well I'm back from the airport. I was a good boy and didn't hop a plane to anywhere. After seeing the forecast for tomorrow though, I'm starting to rethink my decision. -20 wind chills. I'm so over it!!!

It's snowing! And the girls here in the office are laughing at the forecast. We are supposed to be getting "Nuisance Snow Events" and "Disruptive Precipitation". Sounds like something you'd call the cops about.

Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's cold here this morning where we currently stand at 3 degree's with a windchill of -9. Brr!!! They are talking about another major storm this weekend too. Right now they think it's going to be a major snow storm here but the track may shift north and we could see a lot of ice. Yuck!!! I want to run away!!! My neighbor's granddaughter finally got rebooked on a plane coming in this afternoon, so I will be at the airport too. I'm thinking that I can just hop on a plane headed south while I'm there. Hmm, decisions. I guess I better go get my chores done before I head that way just in case. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning MMC! Happy Hump Day & Happy Pines Day! The main boss is gone this morning so it really is a happy day!!! It is bitter cold again this morning, but the sun is shining bright as can be! It looks deceiving from the inside looking out! After work I think I'm going to run to the grocery store, looking for jumbo pasta shells. The store I went too last night didn't have them & I bought everything else to try a new recipe - Mexican Stuffed Shells. I'm planning to bring Gracie along & drop her off at my sisters while I go shop. The vet says that's the best thing you can do to socialize a puppy & make them trust other people. She hasn't seen her yet & was planning to come over tonight anyway, so this might work great! Anyway - I hope you are all having a great morning so far! Enjoy your day!!

Thanks everyone. It's fixed. It had something to do with a part that had cracked for some reason. My husband kind of lost me after that. Anyway, the house is warming up and the basement should dry up and be alright. It's a good thing I went down there when I did.

I was thinking the same thing about a road trip. I will bring what I have in the crockpot: Italian soup. I wanted to use up some leftovers and make a soup with the large macaroni pasta and Italian diced tomatoes (from the can). It tastes so good, but I am not sure how it will settle on my tummy. My "problem" came back with a vengeance. What is so weird is that my tummy is not upset at all, but I still have to have a clear path to the "facilities" again.
