Good morning MMC! Happy Hump Day & Happy Pines Day! The main boss is gone this morning so it really is a happy day!!!It is bitter cold again this morning, but the sun is shining bright as can be! It looks deceiving from the inside looking out! After work I think I'm going to run to the grocery store, looking for jumbo pasta shells. The store I went too last night didn't have them & I bought everything else to try a new recipe - Mexican Stuffed Shells. I'm planning to bring Gracie along & drop her off at my sisters while I go shop. The vet says that's the best thing you can do to socialize a puppy & make them trust other people. She hasn't seen her yet & was planning to come over tonight anyway, so this might work great! Anyway - I hope you are all having a great morning so far! Enjoy your day!!

I forgot to tell yall that Brandi has found a teaching job next fall at a catholic school. And since we are catholic well that's great! The pay is a little lower than public education but we do alright without her working so anything extra is great. The only problem is that I will not be home until late sept and she starts the first of August. So we are planning on hiring a sitter for 8 weeks until I get home. I can always ask for the 4 to midnight shift and that way I will be at home during the day and we cat switch off so to speak!
So she will be a single parent for 6 months and the last 2 will be very hard I have to give it to single parents out there, or at least the ones that make it on their own. It's a very hard job I don't see how many women work full time and come home and still have all that work on front of them. Hopefully their partners are pitching in is all I can say!!! Anyway I think I am just going to fry the fish and eat then hang out here...wait I think survivor is coming on tonight it's the premiere! I have to watch that! talk to yall soon!

So, I've been watching some of the Tonight Show trying to give Jimmy Fallon a chance. He is alright but I miss Jay. Anyway, MerryCarey, I keep thinking of you because Fallon really looks like Busyer Keaton. I looked it up online and I'm not the only one who sees it. Any of y'all see it, too?
LOL...I have no idea who the other guy is, but Fallon looks a lot like him.

I am Catholic, too. And went to Catholic grade school & high school, loved it.

Good Wednesday (Pinesday!) afternoon, my Christmas friends!
It's wet and cool today, but that's ok. We need a little rain now and then, too (as my mom reminded me this morning).
Lulu is still feeling much better, and we're all relieved. Here's a picture of her posing for last Christmas' card:

Home again, relaxing and just kicking back. Going to the Pines to see what everyone is up to and what Carl is planning.
The Subway I worked at before starting where i am now is under new management. Old manager fired for basically running the place into the ground.
New manager called and would very much like me to come back as they need some good working reliable people there. I said yes, but only days and I would keep my current job as well. She agreed to this. So soon I will be working there too which means I will have full time hours between the two places. Time will tell if I survive it! There will be many positive changes which is what the place really needs.
