I did end up going out in this as several could not get into work, but travel into town was fine, it was in the country that is was rotten.
Years ago we had winters like this, we have not had it this bad for a long time. Everyone is calling this the endless winter. The snow we can deal with, but it has been so cold for so long. Usually we get lots of snow in January, by this time it is going away.
No In-n-Out around here, but you know you are going to get a good burger at 5 Guys because the grease makes the bag it come in translucent, that is quality and so yummy.

Man, I typed out a long post last night and guess I forgot to press send! Dang!
Tomorrow is Friday and I sure am ready for it. My Dad is getting to come home from his job for a week and we are all going to catch up. Mom is making his favorite meal and I'm making his favorite dessert. Haven't seen him since Dec. 26th, so I'm ready for this visit. He is going to be surprised at how much Little Bambina has grown!
Well, it's 10:00 and I stayed up way too late last night.....so I am not going to make that mistake again tonight. See y'all tomorrow!

We have a few out here, in Westfield, West Springfield, and Enfield, CT. I was spoiled because I use to have one right next to where I use to work and went there quite often. I just never have the time to go to those locations because the closest one is 35 minutes away.
The local news won't even do predictions yet, they just leave us hanging on each broadcast waiting to find out the possible accumulation.

No word on the possible new car yet, but it really wasn't looking good last night, just hoping to be surprised at this point.
I did score something huge though. I have acquired a copy of an uncut version of "A Muppet Family Christmas." I got it on Ebay for $21, that has been my "holy grail" of Christmas DVD's for a few years now and it finally was at a reasonable price and grabbed it. I watched a few minutes of it after I opened it, and it brought back so many memories. That has made my day.

Well my Dr finally called in a z pack and I picked up some Benadryl to help with the sleep and conjestion too. So I am hoping to get a good night rest, I went ahead a called in sick for tomorrow so I guess the weekend has started for me. Brandi fixed some great potato soup by my moms recipe and it brought back so many memories of being sick when I was a kid my mother always made that and it just makes you feel better instantly! Just wanted to tell everyone good night and I will talk to yall in the morning!
That certainly was quick... did they read your post about standing around with the teens?
Not for me... I can honestly say I haven't seen snow in years!
Good afternoon MMC! Happy Friday Eve! Woo Hoo! I've got another hour until quitting time! Ready to go home & crank up the furnace!!!
We had some "excitement" around here yesterday. There was an armed robbery about 5 miles from our house - it was at a friends of ours parents house. Someone knocked on their door & his Dad answered the door, a young guy pushed his way in, pulled a gun & told them he needed a vehicle. Our friend was there on the computer so Dad called for his son & the guy pulled a knife on him. He led them out into their building where the pick up truck was made them lay down, told them if they turn him in, he will be out of jail in 15 years or less & he would be back!
About a month ago our neighbors truck was stolen from the park across the street from our house. He had his truck running while he was walking his dog in the park (at night) & someone drove off with his truck. They found his truck 2 weeks later in Cincinnati, at a Walmart parking lot where the snow plow driver is the only person who noticed it had been sitting there for 2 weeks, the only things missing were his gum & change. surveillance cameras show the guy getting out of the truck, he went into Walmart, & someone picked him up 1 1/2 hours later. WEIRD! Stuff like this doesn't happen around here so everyone is FREAKED OUT! I made Jim go out with Gracie in the middle of the night cuz I was spooked! I hate it! Obviously the guy yesterday wasn't worried about them recognizing him (everybody knows everybody here) so where are these people coming from??? They need to go away! UGH!The Sheriff thinks the 2 incidents are related - hopefully they catch them soon!!!!!
My co-worker & his wife (who are also friends of ours & huge dog lovers) are coming over tonight to see Gracie. Looking forward to it! Hope you are all having a great Thursday!!!
It seems so easy to do! They mustn't have a conscience nor feel of any value within themselves to do this to others.
I'm like a guard dog when answering the door. Sales people stand there holding pamphlets out to me and I hold the screen door locked and ask them to leave them on the table for me to get later. Paranoid much!!!! Just heard too many stories and I was always home alone with toddlers... don't cross a mum!!! Even the census guy was put out when I said we had to sit on the verandah and no I wouldn't tell him anything about my family!
