(I had to look up "zeppoles"!)

No---they're more like a homemade doughnut, but rectangular instead of round, with either a small hole or a slit in the middle instead of a regular doughnut hole. They're made with a raised dough, deep-fried, and coated in powdered sugar. They're similar to the German/Pennsylvania Dutch "fastnacht."

They sound so yummy.

It was a rather thin den meeting tonight, they started to put their skit together for the Pack meeting in a few weeks. It is pretty funny.

I agree! Love winter & snow, but it's been a brutal one this year. I yearn to be able to go outside again, and not have warnings.

I just want the extreme cold to end, our wallets soon won't be able to afford the amount of oil we are going through this year. 30-40's sound perfect right now.

Good evening,

I spent a few hours with the upholstery cleaner, shampooing our furniture, with 5 cats and 2 boys it needed it.
Another well needed day off tomorrow, I may take a run to Goodwill to see if ant Christmas treasures have turned up, or if there is any good book to buy. Since I stopped buying a daily newspaper, I have been reading more books. I have read at least 6 books since October, and I need something new since I finished my latest yesterday.

I pulled a bonehead move earlier, I locked myself out of the house. I grabbed everything except my keys. I had my phone and called my wife, she got ride home and let me in. cheesy

I am tired enough to fall asleep now but I was hoping to stay up to watch a little Fallon, but that is an hour away.

I use to lock myself out of the house a lot when I was younger. I got really good at getting the sliding glass door open with out a key.

I agree, heating bills are way too high.

Hello Christmas family! Sorry I have been scarce lately just getting ready to leave and there is soooo much to get done! I am leaving Friday but will be in touch here as much if not more than I am now! I will miss my family so much but I have been through this enough to know it will pass...
