Our Equinox is our first AWD vehicle also, we love it. We usually go for cars with little amount of luxuries, but we are loving everything about this car. We did turn down the backup camera, couldn't see spending an extra $30 a month just for that.

That is true for us, too. In general, we don't need all of the bells & whistles, but we bought this car & paid it off with my ESOP check and I don't regret it one bit!

I realized I had seen it before, I shut it off and watched "Elf" instead.

Good evening,

I forgot we had an event to attend at the school tonight, the boys had a good time.
I was able to watch the last half of the Bruins game and see them win. Tomorrow is the NHL trade deadline, so I am like a kid in a candy store trying to find rumors about what the Bruins may possibly be doing to shore up the team to make themselves better.

Back to work tomorrow at noon, so I get some more downtime before going in.

Goodnight, everyone.

Glad you all had a fun evening!

Goodnight, friend~

I think this girl is going to call it a night too! If I'm in bed before my hubby & Gracie get home, my hubby will have to take care of getting her settled in for the night! (it seems odd not having that little booger running around tonight - I kinda miss her!)

Sleep tight everyone!

Goodnight, Holiday!!

I bet you miss your little girl! <3

Har & I are getting ready to turn in, too. She is tired just like her Mommy.

xx

I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their evening. I'll see you in the morning ~
Goodnight and sweet dreams! ⭐

My local Goodwill always has one full corner of Christmas stuff, they usually have a lot. I am always very good about not buying much since I always have an idea what I am looking for, but I do love finding the occasional surprises like the Jim Shore ornament and Santa like I found last year.

I went to my 2nd hand shop and there were quite a few Christmas gems but I resisted and now I feel bad, like I missed a bargain :(

We get a lot out of our cars because I hate waste. We have a car that's almost done 380,000kms. The paint job is rough and it has some dents and scratches, no cooling, but the upholstery is fine and it runs smooth on gas (not petrol or deisel). I'll keep it until it stops.

Good Afternoon, MMC!!!!! It was a cold start to the morning with a temp on -2 out here in the country. It was still 6 degree's in the city though so we didn't set a new record low for coldest temp in March like they thought we would. I've been busy getting some stuff done around the apartment this morning so I can head out and spend some time at Papa Roux's for lunch. It sounds like they are having one heck of a Mardi Gras party with live music and all kinds of food specials. So I'm off to get me a Po' boy and some red beans and rice for lunch. Then it will be back home later to make some Jambalaya for dinner. I might pick up a king cake while I'm at Papa Roux's for dessert too. Laissez le bon temps rouler!!!!!!!!!!!

Papa Roux's sounds so good! Food sounds delicious! Next time you go, take me with you!!!

PS- I also here that Carl is planning a Mardi Gras party tomorrow night at the Pines. There were rumors of a cajun crawfish blend. I'm sick to my stomach just thinking about it.

Love the idea of a Mardi Gras party tonight however I will have to pass on a crawfish blend .......

Good afternoon,

I am feeling very tired and rundown today, so I am taking it easy around the house doing laundry and dishes, watching something I recorded from PBS "Ed Sullivan Songs of the 60's." I wanted something Christmassy but couldn't decide what so I went with this. cheesy

I did make a run to Goodwill after I dropped of the boys at school, I found a couple cool Santa Claus ornaments, one is just a porcelain circle with Norman Rockwell picture of Santa at his desk writing with his quill. The other is a vintage looking wooden ornament that when you pull the string Santa's arms & legs go up and down. I paid a total of $1.86, can't beat that.

I need to get myself up and make some tortellini soup for lunch.

I'll be back throughout the day.

Great finds! Bet you can't wait to put them up in a few months! Hope you are feeling better today.

Good evening, Victoria. Sounds like you're having a very productive day. Enjoy your evening.

Goodnight, MMC! Laying down to take a nap. I will ttyt. Tomorrow is my day off and I am looking forward to it!

Thank you. And yes, I sure did although it doesn't happen that often unfortunately. :] I hope you are having a nice day off. :]

I forgot to mention I have been listening to Lori Morgan - Merry Christmas From London in my car the last 2 days! I ejected the cd that was in the player (Lori Morgan) to put a different one in to be sure it had burned ok. When I realized I had Christmas in there, I decided I wanted to listen again...LOVE IT! With snow on the ground & freezing cold temps in March= feels like Christmas!!

That sounds nice! I've been listening to Christmas music in evenings too as it boosts the inspiration for my Christmas fiction writing. :]

Good afternoon everyone! It's mid-day here and I'm in the campus right now. I've just realized that I hadn't popped in this morning to say 'hello' so I thought I will do so know. :] I'm meeting my debate group in less than an hour and I hope to do some more work on my essay after that. Just trying to make my day that productive as it was yesterday. ^^

Have a nice day, and best wishes!

Good Morning, Single-Digits-Tomorrow Friends.

And yes, hard though it may be to believe, we are down to a scant 10 days until our next Milestone, that marker being the one-third point to Christmas Season 2014.

Days to the Season: 253
Days to Christmas Day: 295

Quite cold yesterday and I don't think we ever got out of the 30's all day.
Fortunately, we didn't wind up getting much sleet during the night and driving was not hazardous.
Hopefully, we'll get a break today and it will be warmer.
We have started out at 32 degrees here in the capital city.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday and a Fantastic First open house 'Pines Day of the new month, Folks!

Speaking of that, Carl's theme for this evening is "marching into March".
Don't have any details except that there is a conga line involved at some point.
(And let me say, you haven't lived until you've seen a camel in a conga line!)

Merry Morning! Happy Pines Day!

Sunrise seem to get earlier and earlier these days. I can't believe the drastic change in light but it makes sense as our clocks change at the end of the month. It makes a difference waking up to light instead darkness. It really kick starts your day!

Well I hope you all have a good day, hope everything goes just the way you want it.....
