Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good morning! How did it get to be Monday again already?? Best part is, it will be light longer after work! Woo Hoo!!!! Hope everyone had a great weekend! Ours was nice - dog filled! We are watching my sisters 13 year old Shih Tzu (Macy) while they are on vacation & she hates Gracie!!! I can't understand why - why wouldn't she like Gracie chasing her all over the house & chewing on her face?? Ha ha! We set up a little "apartment" in our basement for Macy - she's happy down there & Gracie can't bother her. When she's upstairs she spends a lot of time on our couch - Gracie is not quite big enough to jump up there yet! Dogs!
Supposed to be nice 'n warm the next to days - 58 today, 61 tomorrow...then 33 & snow on Wednesday & 29º on Thursday. Better enjoy the next two days. Hoping to do some grilling!!!
I'm off to read some posts - have a great Monday everyone!!

Looks like the next milestone day is the same day as our 17th wedding anniversary!! Double reason to celebrate!!!

Good morning!
It is going to be cloudy today with a high of around 40 degrees. We had some passing snow flurries this morning but it has tapered off. It looked very pretty out there, I enjoyed it while it lasted.
Typical Monday for me. I need to get started on housework and I have a couple of quick errands to run. Not too much else going on. I may take a ride to the mall this afternoon, there is one more gift I need to pick up for my mother's birthday which is on Wednesday. We are going to take her out to dinner since my kitchen still isn't done. I can't wait until this kitchen is finished so I can start having company again!
I hope everyone is well and has a happy Monday!!!

Hope you got your errands done, found the perfect gift for Mom, and had a wonderful day!

I hope so too. The guy on the radio this morning said we could get 2", could be 4", could be 8"! They just don't know yet. They are calling for wind too. Makes me cold thinking about it!

Good Monday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME IS BACK!!! YEAH, BABY!! Now I actually have time to do some things after work. Ahhhh. Have I mentioned that I love DST?

I've been taking some ribbing about running out of gas during the parade, but at least I wasn't alone. In addition to Bo Duke breaking down, 3 other vehicle ran hot or just plain died during the parade. LOL

Speaking of John Schneider, my sister-in-law volunteered to be his liaison for the event...and she was OBVIOUSLY star-struck. I even heard Nancy mention that he was a "nice-looking man". Uh-huh. I see. Well, she assured me that he wasn't as nice-looking as me. Yeah, right. I don't recall the last time she told me how nice-looking I was.

All kidding aside, they say he's a really nice guy. We were planning to meet him Saturday afternoon, but we ran out of time. Maybe next time, now that my SIL is his new best friend LOL.

I have been living with a temporary kitchen set up for over a year. I really can't wait to put this project behind us!
Maggie is hanging in there, I wish she was coughing less. I'm hoping her new medicine kicks in. She's only been on it a couple of days so I'm still hoping that she'll improve. Thank you so much for asking!
