Going home is always exciting, especially when I make it every five months or so. :]

Good evening, errr morning, night....I'm confused~ Just getting in again, and heading to bed in a minute or two. Xmastidings is beat and another 18 work day is now behind me. here it is at the end of Tuesday and I already have 34 hours in for the week, with tomoroorow going to be just about the same....

I;m looking forward to the end of the week and the weekend, hopefully, I am supposed to get a break for a few days before it starts back up again.....

I'm heading to bed, see ya....:sparkle:

Merry Wednesday! Happy Pines day!
I had to take a second and think if it is really Wednesday already LOL!

I hope everyone is doing well. We have another bright,dry day! We have been blessed to have it after all the wet, windy , stormy weather we have had since end of last year.

I hope everyone's week is going really well. I can't stop for to long but ofcourse I have to say good morning to my special Christmas friends!

Their appointment went well, except the groomer told me she is leaving Long Island and moving to Kansas! I am so upset. I just love her, she's so good with them. She will be here for one more month, so they'll get to go to her one more time. She introduced me to another groomer that wants Molly and Maggie as clients. This other groomer is a Yorkie mom too, she has three of them. She was very nice, I know they'll be in good hands with her. But I'm going to miss our girl!
Maggie is still coughing and it is so incredibly frustrating. Her doctor did tell me that she was starting her out on a very low dose of the new medication. So maybe it's just a matter of increasing it. I'm going to call her and ask but it's only been a few days. If she doesn't improve by Friday, I'll call. That will be one week since she started it.

That is too bad that your groomer is moving..I know what you mean about having to start with a new one. It's so cool that the new one is a Yorkie Mom, though!

When I left Vegas, not only did I miss Judy (Harlowe's mobile groomer) but was also was worried about finding somewhere I was comfortable leaving her with here- I just hate leaving her for the entire day. She has had such anxiety since she was sick & in the vet hospital a few years back. To my surprise, I found another Judy here! And she's a mobile groomer too! The only one in the area, she comes from about 15 miles away, but I'm ok paying a little extra for the convenience & peace of mind that she's right out in the driveway.

Keeping Maggie in my prayers She's such a trooper. Hope that you'll see some improvement by Friday, and if not, that the increased dosage does the trick.

Harlowe is good, thanks. Happy to have her Daddy home, and she's been enjoying the warmer temps! Couldn't get her to come inside from the deck last night =]

But, it's snowing now. Hope it doesn't accumulate too much.

We are going to have another mild day with temperatures in the lower 50's. Heavy rain heading our way tonight, changing over to snow by the morning. Not a lot of snow is expected but enough to make the roads icy. We will be in the single digits again by tomorrow morning. Ugh!
Not a lot going on for me today. I will be working on some chores around the house. Today is my mother's birthday, I need to wrap her gifts and pick up a cake. We will be taking my parents out to dinner tonight to celebrate, then we'll have cake back at the house afterwards. The girls are all off so everyone will be able to go, I'm very happy about that!

We are just under 64 degrees here at this hour.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday and a Vivacious Visit to the 'Pines this evening.
Even with no advance notice (warning?) of what Carl is up to, it's always bound to be interesting and entertaining.

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It seems my life has gotten so busy lately, I hardly have time to check-in here. I have to get this under control!

I had another un-fun meeting with the other local governments yesterday. There are a lot of hard feelings going around, and I hate that. The mayor of the largest town in our county is a friend. I worked for him while I was in college, and I learned a lot from him. Now he's the one causing all this grief, and it's hard to believe. Oh well. All I can do is the right thing, and hope we still get along when it's over.

Elizabeth signed up for an intensive ballet camp this week, so it's every evening until 8:30 pm, and all day Saturday. Another busy week!
