Chilly yesterday with wind continuing through much of the morning.
Hopefully better weather will prevail later on today.
For now, we have started this Weekend Eve at 28 degrees here in the capital city.

We are not glowing yet. :lol: I guess 'The Simpsons' has influenced this myth. ^^ And no, we were only allowed to take our passports with us, nothing more. (By saying 'nothing' I literally mean that.)

Good morning MMC! Happy, Happy Friday! I'm looking forward to the weekend again! Today & tomorrow are supposed to be warmer (57 & WINDY today, 50 tomorrow) but Sunday is supposed to be cold again. High of 29º, 13 mph wind - and of course that's the day we do the 5k! Brrrrr! Tomorrow morning Jim is going to go pick up the quote & door sample the cabinet maker came up with for us for our kitchen remodel. Tomorrow afternoon we are going to an open house at the window/door company to order windows/doors for our addition. There is also mass for my brother who passed away at 5:00, a benefit/card tournament (guys night out) for my hubby's 2 cousins who are deceased, there is a big sale at the furniture store, a Paddy's day party at the Legion, it's a MMC Milestone day, and it's our 17th wedding anniversary! BUSY DAY!!!! Sunday is the 5k, then we will be with our friends all day. Looking forward too it. Hubby & I are both off work on Monday...looking fwd to that too! :smile: Oh, and of course we have to find time in there to spoil doggies!!! LOL

Hello to all! For some reason I found today's traveling very exhausting. I can barely see my laptop. ^^ Anyway, today's trip was a good fun and very interesting. I use to be so anti-nuclear before I started this course but after today's trip, I am not so sure. In general, we have visited plenty of different plants this semester and there is one thing I have realised - if there were more people going to any kind of plant to see how difficult and complicated the process of electricity generated is, we all would use the energy much more efficiently. Period. It's kinda sad to know that most of people believe that energy generation is as easy as switching on the light. But once you see all this massive equipment and engines with all those people working SO hard just to make our light bulbs work, you start feeling feeling guilty leaving your chargers in the socket or overheating your room. :/

I would say that any kind of plant - nuclear, hydro, biomass, etc. - is a good destination for a day trip.

Thank you! Unfortunately, the new car smell changes as soon as I bring home a takeout order! cheesy It has Bluetooth, so I will be able to stream Kringle Radio and the Merry Podcasts from my smartphone without plugging in a cable. (In my current car, I use a cassette adapter.)

Enjoy it! I love having Bluetooth in my car!

Thanks, Brad!! Her foot is still pretty numb but it is slowly getting better. They did another CT scan this morning to, checking for clogged arteries in her brain. We are waiting on the results of it now.

It's another busy day here at work. I think I saw a few wisps of smoke coming from my computer's CPU. It's just gonna have to suck it up, we have work to do!

I'm meeting my mom and my brother for lunch today, then I have more work to do after work. What a busy month it's been!
