Good Morning, One-Week-To-Go Milestone Coveters.

'Tis true.

One week from today.

March 26.

One Quarter of the way to Christmas Day.

Believe it or not.

Our daily figures:

Days to the Season: 239

Days to Christmas Day: 281

Another nasty, cold, rainy, blustery day here yesterday with more sleet.

Today had BETTER be better or Mother Nature will get an earful.

(But then, it's also not nice to threaten Mother Nature, I suppose.)

We stand just under 36 degrees here at this hour.

OK -- Pines Day!

That camel. What does he have planned?

Will it involve coffee blends?

Will it involve conga lines?

Will it involve Carl promoting Carl? (I think we know the answer to that one.)

You must come to see.

Regardless, our resident 4-legged activites director will see to it that the fired twinkies are fresh, the iced tea is sweet and smooth and that everyone is properly entertained.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, Folks!

Can't wait!!

Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday too, Crown!

Good evening, MMC family!

How are you today?

I am well, tired but doing well!

The next few weeks are going to be extra busy. I have a new job!

I sent in my resume to a Chiropractor's office a few weeks ago, and have had two interviews there, and I was offered the job on Sunday. I am beyond excited! I was a Chiropractic Assistant in Las Vegas, and loved it. I had wanted to get back into it here, and was just waiting for the perfect opportunity to arise. I will work Monday-Friday, full-time, and have my weekends off again.

Chiropractic has helped me so much over the years, so it's great to be part of such a positive team again.

I will be working at both places for the next few weeks during the transition period, so I may not be around quite as much =]

Hope you're all having a nice night!

((Hugs))

The local chiropractor literally saved my sanity after I hurt my back a couple years ago. I was skeptical, but desperate. I can tell you, I am no longer a skeptic!

Something I've always wanted to know, though: the word "chiropractic" sounds like an adjective (as in, a doctor who practices chiropractic medicine), but it's not used that way. One of the local places is "Martin Clinic of Chiropractic", but it sounds like it should say "Martin Clinic of Chiropractic Medicine".

What's the deal with that word?

BTW, I can't tell you how many times I had to backspace because I started typing "Christmas" while trying to type "chiropractic". LOL

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

My meeting lasted for 3 hours last night, with a 2 hour presentation by the county folks and a 1 hour presentation by the city folks. Each group was trying to convince Bellville to go with them on the Fire Department. It's a long story, and it actually gets pretty technical, but there are good reasons to go with both of them. After the last guest left, we tabled discussion for another day. I'm ready to get this behind us.

It's another wet, cold day, and I have customers coming for a plant tour. All that means is, I won't get much work done. Oh, well. Sometimes you gotta schmooze (is that a word?) the customer to get him to keep buying. We'll see.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

The feeling when you get something you have worked so hard for is worth working. I am happy for you. :]

Good morning everyone! It's sunny here right now but it should get cloudy later on. It's windy though. No uni today so I guess I will read (I only have two more chapters left in my book) and vacuum my room. It sure needs vacuuming. ^^

Have a nice day everyone!

Enjoy your day, Victoria!

Good morning friends. I've been at work since 6:30 and still have a long way to go! But Carl has promised a fun time tonight, so that's keeping me going! Hope you all have a great Wednesday!
