Happy Friday to everyone...hope you are all having a great day and good weekend too!

We will be pretty much rained in all weekend but that is ok! I am looking forward to watching movies and having some down time!

*sigh* One of the sorrows of being a proofreader is that people tend to assume that I'm passing judgment on everything I read. In reality, I don't evaluate writing, spelling or grammar unless I'm on the clock being paid for it. I always say, "In the professional's hands, the red pen is a tool, not a weapon." Here I read strictly for pleasure (and there is plenty of pleasure). You're all safe.

You're too sweet to be any other way! I was actually kidding about what I said anyway!

Like I said, as long as everyone is chatting and having fun who cares about proper spelling and all that! I bet it's nice for you to be able to take a break from all that!

Just wanted to let everyone know that at 9:40 this morning EmiSunshine & the Rain will be performing on the Today show. They are from the small town we live in. DH & Emi's dad have been friends for years, we've travelled with them, DH has played keyboard for Emi in the past & DD played her first public performance on drums with Emi singing last year. Our little town is all abuzz this morning!

She has lots of her songs on YouTube. You can see some of DH playing keyboards for her!

Oh sorry I missed it! I would have turned it on if I was home but been on the run all day.

Good afternoon!
What a busy morning. I had to go food shopping and then I had a bunch of other errands that really couldn't wait. I'm happy to be home. I am sick and my head is pounding. I'm going to lay down for a little bit and try to get rid of my headache. Just wanted to pop in and say hello first. I didn't really get to chat this morning and I've been thinking about you all. I hope everyone is having a happy Friday. I'll pop back in later!

The storm JUST HIT! I got home just in time!

I had a girls day out today with my mom and daughter. We went to the Arboretum and walked around. The sun was out and no sign of rain. Afterward we went to lunch and sat outside at the restaurant.

Now I am home and it's pouring down, thundering and lightening. Just hoping there are no tornado warnings!

I forgot to mention earlier that Snow-in-Texas and I watched Christmas Vacation last night!

Tonight we have stitch & *itch at my friends house. She has a group project we are going to work on, but she won't tell us what it is. I'm very curious!! She says it's something FUN! I guess we'll find out in a few hours! :lol:

Good afternoon, made! I hope you have an enjoyable day, even with all the rain and wind. The forecast calls for rain here, too, but so far we've had ice and snow. The driveway is thawing out and the ice that is still out there is slowly melting ~ quite messy at the moment, but no flooding in the basement or Shaggy's yard as of yet, so all is good! Good early evening everyone! And happy Friday!

It has been cloudy here today and we got some rain too in late afternoon but that wasn't too bad. Also, it has been the last day of semester today. I can't believe I am almost done with my second year at uni. ('Almost' because I still have exams left in May.) Some of course mates and me decided to grab some coffee and chill at 'Starbucks' after the lectures. Our spring breaks starts now and most of people are going home so we thought it would be nice to sit back and chat for a while. It was very nice. ^^

I hope you all have some nice plans for the weekend. :]
I will probably pop in later in the evening too see you all later.
