I feel like I've been away for weeks! It has been a few days, though. My work computer went down for a couple days, and my evening have been filled with trips to dance practice and guitar practice.

Please don't dis-own me! I'm back on track.

Well I just got caught upon the game threads. Lots of folks have been playing! That makes it fun and I enjoy getting to know everyone better through their responses!

I have not had time to pop by the game threads lately. It's either the game threads or here.

It was a busy afternoon at the office, but I had enough time to walk around the block twice after lunch. Nice, sunny day, about 50F---I even saw an ice cream truck roll by! This is the first time this year I could feel any warmth at all from the sun. Maybe spring is actually on the way!

On Monday , I was actually able to leave the house without a coat! I hope it warms up and stays that way for all of us soon!

I am just organising a shopping list and meal plan for next week. I am listening to the Beatles and enjoying a cup of tea. My neck is killing me and it's kind of making it hard to focus on things. I have some work to get through in a bit but I don't feel like being on the PC.

And the following are the mid-week numbers:
Days to the Season: 225
Days to Christmas Day: 267

Under 3 1/2 weeks way now from the 1/3 Christmas Day Milestone and just over 3 1/2 weeks to the 200-day Season Window as we ever advance back to our Holiday of choice.


Another fantastic day was had here yesterday with our high in the 70's, again with no precip and only moderate breezes. More of the same again today I hope, although some rain may return for later in the week.
Currently, we have 57 degrees here in the northwestern part of the capital city.


Well, see you at the 'Pines this evening for the first open house of the new month.
I'm sure Carl's theme will be of an early Spring nature but his big plans are in the works for the Wednesday before Easter. He says we don't want to miss that one!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Well, sort of...

I chipped a tooth a couple months ago, and today I have to go get a filling. I haven't had a filling since I was a kid. And I don't mind telling you, the though of that drill give me the heebie-jeebies. I'll have to stop by the house on the way to the dentist and get my big-boy pants.

Made, you'll appreciate that I fiberglassed the floorboard of the Camaro last Saturday. The big problem with older cars is rust, and the floors had little rust holes all over. Anyway, they're sealed with fiberglass, and this week I'm spraying the floor with rubberized undercoating. Then insulation, then carpet. It's nice to be getting something done on it for a change.

The Beatles? Did you say, The Beatles??? I am a die hard fan! I have seen Sir Paul 3 times and I have tickets to Ringo this summer. I am excited!

My husband is having a lot of trouble with his neck too. It sure makes you feel bad all over when it hurts. I hope you feel better soon!
